Hi,
I did some research and I found this link that will should you the schematic of the LCD technology,It sounds like one of you LCD color ships is not working properly, your TV has 3 ships (BLUE,GREEN,RED)
you can see how it work; http://www.oerlikon.com/ecomaXL/index.php?site=OPTICS_EN_lcd_projector .Whay happening is that due to the high density the lamp this ships tent to wear out and the three major color don't mix properly causing the color discoloration on your picture. You can find the parts you need at DM http://www.discount-merchant.com/?click=52978 (The correct diagnostic can only be made be a tech) I hope this info helps you please keep us posted .

SOURCE: Samsung DLP TV shows green color where color should be black

This could be your video board going bad where your input cables are connected --OR-- the color wheel going bad. Hard to tell without a photo or reference though. Try swapping the cables first... and listen for any winding or whirring sounds.

SOURCE: Two bright lines on my acer 17" lcd monitor

You have failed TFT driver in the T-CON board, in other word, nothing you can do to fix it without replacing the LCD panel.

SOURCE: Samsung LCD TV 46 inch model LN46A550 has bright pink glow where it should be light (sky, lamp, etc)

My guess would be that you have a CCFL lamp that is failing. They will give off a pinkish tint when they are about to fail. But I would encourage you to get a professional diagnoses.

My sceptre lcd tv is displaying really bright pink and green colors

I had a similar problem with blacks showing up as green. Turning up the brightness a bit fixed it for me. Not a permanent fix, but something to try if you want to make it last a bit longer until you can get a new one or fix it.

My panasonic plasma has spots of bright colors where they shouldn't be.

If its four years old that is about the average lifespan of one of these sets; a guess would be either voltages drifting or off in power supply or one of the signal boards that processes information is going bad.
