Question about Samsung Eternity Cell Phone

The phone accidentally had some water sprinkled on it (not immersed) and now it powers on with only the boot message and nothing more? Opened it up and tried to dry it but did not help.

Dropped phone in water, turns on. is it locked ?

Immerse it again in a bucket of water, and turn it on; while it is immersed. That is the only way to make it OK.

If you have an accidental damage protection plan with your carrier, you can get your phone replaced. If you don't have any replacement plan, you'll probably end up having to replace your phone. Phone's don't like to be dropped in water. If you have a memory card with data on it (pictures, videos, contacts, address books, etc...) you can remove the memory card from the phone and keep your data; most memory cards are forgiving of water immersion.

My hunter SRC lawn sprinkler controller sprinkles t

First thing to check is the power supply. Are the batteries fresh? Most likely you need to reprogram. There is likely a previous program that is causing the errant watering. Here is a good video on how to program.

I have a Canon Zoom EF-S 18-55mm lens and I'm not sure if it got damaged when I accidentally dipped my camera into the ocean. I haven't turned the camera one, but when i look through the lens...

Sorry, but salt water immersion is effectively just as destructive to your camera and lens as if they had been crushed or burnt. If the body and lens were immersed in seawater then they are complete write-offs as they will be completely beyond economic repair.

Immersed in pond water

When my cellphone was immersed in a pool, i let it dry for hours. Finally, I blew dry it and it came back on. Don't use the warm option, it may toast the lcd screen.

If it is not coming back on, you may want to take it to a repair center.

There's nothing you can do. Salt water is the single worst thing for any electronic device, excepting fire.

The only chance your phone had would have been to recover it immediately, remove the battery and then immerse it in de-ionised water to rinse out all the salt water. After a thorough shake out and drying the phone had a slim possibility of working again.

Sorry, but your phone is a write-off.

Most likely is your hard drive connection is not functioning. Can you please provide more details on the problem? Does it happen every time you try to boot, or only sometimes? Have any new devices been added? Memory changed? Computer dropped or immersed in water?

I accidentally immersed my phone in water and now it not working. Need to know if it can be repaired.

I bought a new phone with discount by upgrading and signing a two year service agreement. The old cell phone will not work anymore due to the water damage, as I was told by my cell phone company AT&T. Shame that I didn't have insurance, it would they would have provided me a new phone with a $50.00 deductible. Thanks for your concern.
