Question about Rival 38601 Smart Pot 6-Quart
The ceramic bowl part of the crock itself is loosing the luster surface about two inches high, most of the way around the inside of the bowl.
As for cleaning, both hand wash and dishwasher methods have been used in the past, neither seems to be destroying the surface.
From past crocks (also Rival brand), this did not seem to be an issue.
Is this still a safe appliance??
I like to use diluted vinegar on stubborn cleaning jobs. try this - it works on a lot of other problem stains.
