Code 10 mens the drive cannot start the device for some reason. If you have tried the usual suspects, new USB cable and a different computer, now it's time for more drastic measures.
Take the drive to your local PC shop and have the techs extract the actual HDD insode and put it in a new enclosure. If it works your done, buy the new enclosure and be on your way. If not, reply back with your location and I will refer you to a pro for data recovery, be sure to include Country, State and City so I can refer you to a nearby facility.
