Question about Epson Stylus Pro 9800 InkJet Printer
I have epson 9800, the photo black ink ran out and we replaced it with new epson photo black but its keep indicating catridge error even with new one. We tried to convert to use matte black but it birngs same error as we are doing the matte black conversion.
Please let me know what I can do. I am thinking about using chip resetter.

SOURCE: swap black inks with Epson 9800
By using Colorbyte's Imageprint software and their 'Phatte Black' cartridge....
I have not purchased it myself quite yet but im good friends with an Epson R&D guy who tested their system and highly recommends it.

Why would you want to turn off the counter? Doing so would allow you to run the machine completely dry resulting in major print head damage?
You cannot turn off the counter, but you can purchase a chip resetter.
Hope this is helpfull
