That means your computer has a non-working grapics card. so i recommend you get a new graphics card for this computer because e-machines are very good computers. hope this helped!!!!!!!!!!

Make sure that it is plug in 1st then go into device management and go down to monitor and hit the + in front of it and see if there is a yellow box of any kind...if there is the computer isn't acknowedging it. The next step you may need to be on line if possible...at this point right click on the application that you have under monitor and you will see a driver update...click on that while on line if you have a driver's disk...that is better yet...reinstall it. Hope that helps
