Question about Fuji FinePix S8100fd Digital Camera

1 Answer

How can I erase my sd card? I thought it was empty, but when I went to print from my disk only, it said I have like 1600+ photos on it! I should have only had 152, according to what I thought I'd erased. I don't have my book with me. Help!

Hi,
First of all make sure the write protect lock is off on the left hand side of the memory card, the slide lock should be in the up position.

Press the MENU/OK button on the camera to display the menu. Use < or > buttons to select ERASE. Then use the up/down buttons to select FORMAT, then press the MENU/OK button.
Press the BACK button to exit the menu.

Please be aware that all data is erased from the card so make sure to back up any file you might want.

Regards.

How to recover erased images from sd card

It is quite possible to recover the photos no matter deleted, formatted, lost or inaccessible from your sd card. All you need to do first is by trying SD card data recovery software tools.

Note: before those files are recovered, never should you attempt to save more data to the card. better stop using it for a moment. Regards.

SanDisk 2 GB SD shows out of space when 1.79 gig still available

Backup anything you want to keep on the sd card before you do this. The format option on disk utility is called erase. Select the name of the sd card in disk utility and click erase. Choose your format (if you want fat32, set it as ms-dos) then type in the name you want your sd card to be then press erase. Let the program do it's thing and when its done, you should see the sd card on your desktop again.

Missing photos...mysteriously erased?

My memory card was not securly in the slot. My camera is broken and just randomly ejects the disk. Therefore I am only taking pictures on the camera memory. In my case I took pictures on the disk, then it popped out of place, and I was only reviewing the pictures on the camera memory. I opened the door reinserted the disk and found the lost photos.

Can't take photos

Using a USB SD card-reader, copy all the photos from your camera SD-card to your PC, then try format option in your camera, this way the photos in your SD card are safe(in the computer). OR
insert a new/empty SD card into your camera. Use the format option and start clicking photos.

I didn't have sim card in the camera when i took photos now

I recently noticed a mini SD memory card in my cellphone and even though there was data on the chip which I had put there using the SD adapter and my laptop none of the data was viewable on the cellph screen. I went ahead with the Format command on the cellph. It erases my data but I believe I will now be able to store multimedia to the SIM as the Good Lord intended.

Micro sd

let me understand this...to erase from it, just pull it up after going to my computer and finding the usb port it is in and delete anything that is on it....
now you 2gb memory/card/stick is new? is this a memory card for your camera?
If your sd card is plugged in to removable disk k and you send your photos to it, then they should be on there. That is all you have to do is select, send to and choose disk K.
if you want to make sure they are going there, have disk K open and running at the bottom, it will not hurt a thing.
Hope this helps
