Question about NorStar T7208 Corded Phone
We have a main phone T7316E that uses as system coordinator to change names etc for the new staff and they use T7208. We had this staff that just came back from maternity, so we want to switch this phone's extension # from 001 to 002 which was her ext#. We changed the extension on T7316E but when trying to transfer a call to ext 002, it could not get thru, it has a message that says ext not in service.
We tried adding back the mailbox, and change ext # from 001 to 002. With T7208, it doesn't allow access to Feature 983. Is there a way to activate the extension so it could receive transfer calls?
On the newer norstar systems the T7208 and lower phones can not be used for programming. The T7316e phone has to be used for programming therefore feature 983 will only work on the T7316e set.To change local dn's you have to go into config programming and to change dn old dn then new dn.
