Sony blue ray bdp_350 no picture or sound

just onscreen message saying out off range it as been used on another sony tv and worked ok.cannot reset to factory defaults because no pic or sound every thing else works using the remote,i am using on a sony bravia 720p tv any help please

press and hold stop button returns player to factory reset which solved my problem.
