Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
Do NOT load Threatfire. Avast has a behaviour shield as part of its system. Threatfire is a behaviour shield and is notoriously difficult to uninstall, Avast & Malwarebytes are good enough to detect any viruses without it.
Most slowing down of computers is caused by the owners never cleaning out the **** that accumulates over time. This is known as housekeeping.
Here are links to 2 cleaners and 1 defrag tool all of which I use and are excellent freeware tools.
First run cleaner then open registry, scan for issues then fix issues.
Run deep care cleaner, then open toolbox and run ram cleaner deep scan, then minimise. Spend time with the toolbox and get to know how it functions.
Analyse your hard drive then run defragment and optimise'
If you use the cleaners regularly (once a week) you system will run well. You shouldn't need to use the defrag tool more than once a month unless you're constantly downloading. The cleaners only take a few minutes when used regularly. The defrag about half an hour depending on the size of your hard drive & the amount of info you have stored on it.
I hope this helps.

Your netbook could be infected with viruses, malware or trojans....check the guide below.....
At the end of this are three links to programs that you should load up and run. The first is MalwareBytes Ant-Malware Tool, another is Avast Anti-Virus 5.0, the third is Threatfire.
Run MalwareBytes first and perform a quick scan, when it finishes, it will ask you to show the results, click on “Show results, all infections will appear in red. Delete everything it finds.
Run Avast and install it, when it asks, go ahead and schedule a pre-boot scan of your entire system. This should get rid of most problems….Now, if you have Norton Anti-Virus, internet security or any of the others, they also be causing some of your problems. They will have to be removed and the only way to properly do that is go to the Norton site and download their Norton removal tool. Run this before installing any other kind of ant-virus. The Avast 5.0 is free to use, just register it once a year, that is all…it will update itself 2-4 times a day to keep its virus definitions constantly updated, you do not have to do anything, it is completely automated and has 7 real time scanners that run all the time.
When your boot time scan is over and you have either deleted or moved the infection to the chest as Avast recommends, now run Threatfire…it will ask you to let it update as will Malwarebytes, do so. Threatfire monitors every web page on the world wide web and lets you know if your tap dancing where you shouldn’t, it will throw a flag up and say abort connection…do so to save yourself from a bad situation. The links are below.
