yes it sais it is installed and working correctly no mention of the hub thoe and the only device that is showing as a problem is a raid device. i dont know if that would include the firewire input on the hub?? thanks for the reply tom

tom i have had problems with the motherboard since the day i installed vista and the drivers offered by asus are still beta. i just thaught i would pick your brain to see if u had fixed a problem like this. i am going to put the problem down as a driver or compatability problem rather than hardware. ill keep looking for drivers if i find a solution ill post it thanks for all your help

I've upgraded most of the hardware in my computer, retaining the Audigy2 Platinum Pro which worked perfectly. Now with the new system up, I can't get the hub to respond in any way. I've checked and re-checked connections, tried uninstalling and installing different driver versions, and even dug the drivers out of the cab folder on my old hard drive. Nothing helps. This thing has traveled to many LANs without incident, so I doubt moving it around happened to break it this time. What am I missing?

    Hehe, this was it!
Had forgot that the card itself required the power connector! It's the white connector! thanx!

Did you check the device manager for errors or non existant devices?

Yes, it could include the firewire input on the hub.

After you installed the VISTA OS, did you run the motherboard cd? Is the Motherboard compatible with VISTA?

A driver or compatability problem is most certainly the problem. If they are BETA , then there will definitely be problems. Thanks for the update and rating.

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum

    Hello,

No, you cannot fix this. Any replacement you buy will work fine no matter where you are located. You may want to do a Froogle search from Google and shop by reseller rating and price.

It is the Power Supply for the PC that needs to be adaptible with your country's power grid. So, don't worry about that just be more careful, as I'm sure you will, when you install the power plug to your sound card.

    Regards,
    Worldvet
