Make sure your not connected to a wifi connection with a password, or in the interm, just use the internet off 3g if you have it, or edge networks.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

With wifi you have to choose it in settings.

If you check the box that says 'connect automatically' then you will log on automatically. however, this only works in a home situation or in a bar that has a standard password. In many wifi enabled public spaces like airports, McDonalds, Starbucks, Tim Horton's, you have to open a web page and accept the conditions. You will connect automatically, but you still have to open a web page to a new page and accept the conditions of use.

Hi can you please help me with this matter how do i reset my phone as i cant get on the internet i think i am conected to wifi

Connect to wifi, then open a web page to a new page. Do you see something that asks you to connect, or pay money?

If you are at home, you will need to connect your phone to your home wifi connection, and then you have to add the password.

If the phone worked before and nothing has changed, power the phone down, count to 10 and power it back up.

I bought a Nokia E71 Saturday and everything works, including the WIFI, except I am unable to connect to internet going down the hiway or anywhere away from a WIFI connection.

If you don't have a WIFI connection then you don't have internet. The only way to have internet without wifi is with a data plan from you provider.

When i use my wifi on my lg renoir im still being charged by t-mobile. why is this?

Me too , i found out that for some reason the phone decides to switch back to hsdp , or gprs depending on signal strength all on its own even though there is a wifi connection there and then starts downloading web stuff over this connection instead of using your wi fi connection. I complained to t mobile , but was told that it wasnt there problem that the phone chooses to use that connection as preffered option and said i had to pay up.
Interestingly the phone i got came in a t mobile box not a renoir plain box and is of course locked to the t mobile network and has t mobile software in it so i guess its been tampered with to maximise t mobiles profits. Here Is an option Ring t mobile up and demand to get internet services turned off t your phone, of course you will loose google maps while out and about , but i never used them at all and you can always find a wireless hot spot to connect to if you need to collect emails and stuff . After doing this my bills fell by three quarters and i am not being duped into paying huge phone bills when i am not given the choice to say yes or no.(Hope This helps)
