Hi,

The blinking is indicative of a failure within the pod itself. Take the pod to your local PC shop and have the techs there transfer the drive into a new enclosure, if it works there you're in luck, buy the new enclosure and you're up and running again. If not the drive itself may be the issue, if this is the case, respond with your location(Country, State and City) and I will be happy to connect you with a pro in your region to assist you with retrieving your data.

Hope this helps FixYa,

Chris

All lights are green except the third light is red.

When you plug in the power cord is there any lightswhatsoever on the laptop, where the plug goes in or on the AC Adapter of thepower cord?

When you press the power button do you hear fans running, hard drive spinning, lights on the computer, hear any beeps or lights constantly blinking, hear theDvD/CD drive click and the light on the drawer of the DvD/CD turn on for asecond or two? If so the laptop is trying to boot or may have booted, butthe screen is not showing for some reason.

Beep tones and blinking lights tells the technicians what is going on with thelaptop and why it is not booting. Most times it's a motherboard issuewhen you hear beeps or blinking lights continuous.

Maybe your power cord is bad if you don't get anything to happen whatsoeverwhen you press the power button. And if that's true maybe you wasoperating off the battery the last time you had it on and since the power cordis bad, it was not charging the battery so the battery is drained and the powercord is bad.

Maybe you have a Static Charge Buildup. Remove the Power Cord, Remove theBattery, then Press and Hold the power button for 30seconds. After 30 seconds plug the power cord back in (leave the batteryout) and hit the power button to see if it boots. If it does, you can putthe battery back in and let it charge.

Computer will not turn on. green light blinking

Try replacing the power supply, a blinking green light usually means the power supply is missing an output voltage. If you do that and you still get a blinking green light then the motherboard will need to be replaced.

Hi, problem can be solved. You need t look out for two things:

1. the battery of the i pod,
2. the memory of the i pod.

Checking the battery, the battery cell of the i pod might be too weak to power up the i pod, so you need to test with another battery before purchasing a new one. It may also need to be charged properly for longer hours before it can be able to power up the i pod.You can also check that out.

Checking the memory of the i pod. The memory of the i pod can also be the cause. Virus or corrupted applications can cause to malfunction.

After checking battery, if it does not work that means you will need to flash the i pod for the memory to be restore back to normal again.

Take care.

I had the same problem - green light on power cord but when plugged in the green light would go off and the hard drive would do nothing. I took it into Geek Squad finally and it turned out that the problem was hard drive casing, which I had to have replaced.

When power is applied to the all-in-one for the first time, the power light is solid and the check paper, check print cartridge, black copy, and color copy lights flash, the display will be blank, and the all-in-one will not respond. One or more of the following symptoms will also be observed: The all-in-one keeps turning off Cannot print, scan, or copy The print carriage will not move Windows plug and play (device detection) does not occur The all-in-one does not respond when buttons are pressed, including the power button. SOLUTION: This problem occurs for two reasons: the front panel cover was not installed or the ink cartridge access door was not closed before plugging in the all-in-one. The front panel overlay must be correctly installed before the power cord is plugged in. Follow the steps below to correct the problem: Disconnect the power cord. Lift the scanner lid and carefully line up and install the front panel overlay. Plug the power cord in. The scanner cannot operate when the cartridge access door is open On light (green) - On Check Paper light (amber) - Blink Simultaneously Check Print Cartridge light (amber) - Blink Simultaneously Black copy area backlight (green)- Blink Simultaneously Color copy area backlight (green) - Blink Simultaneously Issue Front panel overlay is not attached at all or not attached properly Solution Turn Off the all-in-one.
