Question about Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

Unit will come on for a minute (working normally)then stop. The green light on the left hand side will blink 2 times, pause then repeat. Attempts to restart fail, and eventually the left hand light will begin blinking.

    Information was apparently lost.

The unit is a Mr Slim (Mitsu) 1200 btu split unit.

    Model -- R32174

    Serial -- 3000549T-2003

It blinks a code (2 blinks) that indicates a problem with the thermostat, vs 3 blinks for a fan motor problem.

I believe it may be a bad thermistor sp?? But that is why I am asking you for help.

Ok I got the manuals and service documentations that I was allowed to get LOL…now we need to test the thermostat but before we start remember that when you are working with a person for example me no one is looking at our communications tell the end, so if I ask for something that may be asked in the past now you understand why

Back to the thermostat you stated that the unit gives two lights green that mean it is thermostat, lets test this then, turn the thermostat all the way up and all the way down and keep them on each side for about 5 min each then start changing the thermostat slow (5 deg. At a time) and see if it will shutdown.

I am not going to ask if you changed the Batteries etc.

Door stopped working when I was trying to adjust the door. Blinking yellow light on the overhead unit

The motor has a thermal overload that will turn it off it if starts to overheat. Normally a 15 or 20 minute rest and it will automatically reset. The blinking yellow light may be sending a code. If it blinks 5 times and then pauses and then repeats it is the overload.

Replace the thermistor to take care of this problem. When it is bad, it thinks the unit is too hot so it opens the circuit that is why the unit stops. This erratic behavior causes what you described. It looks like this.ef36731.jpg

TV won't work. Green light blinks continuously on front panel

Your particular bigscreen has a digital module located on the left rear of the unit, and is mounted vertically. This module can be removed and the shielding taken off. On the component side of the DM module is a small power supply circuit board which needs to have all five electrolytic filters replaced. The filters are typically 1000 micro farad at 25 volts and are easily obtained by you local electronics supplier or repair shop.

The reason your unit does not stop blinking is due to these out of tolerance electrolytic filters. They became out of tolerance when the unit was left unplugged during the move. Once the filters are replaced, and the module re-installed, the green blinking light will extinguish after about one minute, at which point the unit will turn on.

Cannot operate svr-925 digital recorder, need manual

How to Record:
1. Make sure HOLD switch (on side of unit with pocket clip) is set to off position (slide to right is off - to left would be hold)
2. For best results set unit with mic(rophone) which is on top of unit toward sound source and press REC/STOP button (Top button on front of unit just below LCD display). Recording will begin and will be indicated on LCD display.
> Red Record LED will be on and the message number, recording time will be displayed on the LCD.
3. To stop recording, press REC/STOP button one time.
* If no other buttons are pressed within 1 minute at stop position, it will power off automatically.
4. Pause during recording by simply pressing MODE/PAUSE button- press button again to resume.

There is a Voice Operated System (VOS) Recording button on left side also. You can record with voice activation to conserve recording space but I have found that you lose a portion of the recorded sound as it activates and if there is no sound for a very few minutes the unit powers off and you will get nothing further recorded. I recomend just keeping VOS in off position.

5. To erase a recording: Select the message number you want to erase and while it is stopped (the message number will appear in LCD with the length of recording showing also)
Press and hold the ERASE button until the LCD begins blinking "ERASE" then, while it's blinking simply press the erase button again and the recording will be erased.

6. To play back a recorded message find your message by "toggling" the switch on the right side of the unit that says INDEX. That switch is the fast forward/reverse play etc. To Play simply push the switch in. This button/switch takes a little practice to use but the Play portion is straight forward. Use the front buttons to pause and stop during playback.

Hope this helps.

Blinking Green Light

Here's what I could find on the your error code:

A blinking clean light that flashes 7 times and cannot be reset, occurs when the electronic control does not detect a water temperature increase during the main wash. This could be an indication of a failed heating element, in line thermostat, electronic control board and/or wiring. This problem can also occur if the main wash pump becomes clogged and it not spraying sufficiently. I hope this helps you.

PS A faulty door latch can also cause this error code.

Canon Pixma MP150 Error code E 42

Had exact same problem. Scanner light should come on at power up. Found ribbon cable connecting scanner unit to base had come unplugged from socket on circuit board. The ribbon cable is one of three found near back hinge of scanner and is hidden underneath the other two. It should drape over the edge of circuit board and then plug into small recepticle on inner side of board. I plugged it in and printer works again. Hope this helps.

How to set watch

I just set the time on mine with these instructions 1) With the watch in the regular time display mode (doesn't matter if 12 hour or military time), depress and hold the lower left hand button (mode button). After a few seconds the watch appears to shift to alarm mode and it is blinking. This puts you into the mode for adjusting the alarm.

2) If you want to adjust time, date, etc rather than alarm time, after you have done step one, simply press that same lower left button again, and then it will put you into the time mode, but this time the time mode is blinking and you can adjust the various components (seconds, minutes, hours) then you can use the upper right hand button to navigate thru seconds, minutes and hours. Then you can change the time with the lower right hand button you can only change the time forward. I hope this helps !!!
