Question about Samsung 1TB SATA2 7200RPM 32MB HD103UJ 334 GB SATA Hard Drive
Even if trying cable select for many times!!!!
Hi all,i just had the same problem, heres how i fixed it.
in bios, check you settings
if using ide and sata, enable combo cable select
check motherboard compatability 1.5gps or 3.0 gbs
if 1.5 insert jumper on back of HDD
check now in BIOS to see if HDD seen.
now boot windows, open control panel, administrative tools, computer managemant, disc management and select drive, it may need to be formatted.

Try setting one drive to master with the pins and the other to slave... Also, check in your BIOS to see if they're being detected there; if they aren't, you probably have a dead (or seriously screwed up) drive.
