Probably there are no right drivers for camera go to Acer website and download and install latest drivers for camera.

you may have lost the driver for your camera .
look for a new driver on line suitable for your cam .

the camera requires specific drivers to be installed in order to work
when the guy reinstalled windows he did not install drivers for the camera
