Difference between lithium battery and AA size battery for camera

"Lithium" refers to the chemical makeup of the battery. "AA" refers to the size of the battery. There are such things as lithium AA batteries.

If your camera takes AA batteries then lithiums will give you more shots than other types. They will also cost more.

I am using the best lithium AA batteries and have taken about 100 photos and they are flat within 40 days

1. How do you know that they are the best AA batteries?
2. Did you see the user manual and read which are the appropriate batteries?
3. Were those batteries new; if so, that's not a normal thing; contact your dealer and claim a new ones.
4. Do you turn off your camera after taking the pictures? You should do this.

b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera
3. Without the memory card, turn on your camera.

Kodak Z812 shuts off automatically

It is a high-powered camera, also knows as a GREAT camera. Use CRV-3 lithium duracell batteries. I have the same camera and the same "problem", but when I use that battery it lasts forever.
