External HDD Will an external HDD improve my laptop's performance (Satellite A135-S4666)? Also,can I save games/program files in it instead of in my laptop? Thanks!

The answers are maybe, and yes.

If your internal hard drive is nearly full then adding an external hdd and transfering some of the files to it will free up space on your internal hdd and potentially improve performance.

You can install programs and store files on the external hdd. Obviously it will need to be connected in order to run these programs and access the files.

Silverligh and adobie dosent download proerly


Uninstall both programs and reboot the laptop, now install adobe first and test, if okay install silverlight.

Toshiba should have drivers for all their equipment on their website. Typically under customer service or downloads.

No sound need driver, but when i go to the toshiba website, they don't have any sound drivers for xp.

try to eject whatever is in the DVD (you will see a tiny hole near the eject button, straighten a paper clip and push it in the hole) then try again

Installing a 160Gig HDD in my A135-S4666


First confirm with the laptp vendor becaus the bios may not support a 160 gb HDD.Istead you can use the drive as external disk.
