In the Layers dialog, click the down-arrow to the right of the line stating "Mode:" and the current blending mode, and select "Burn". If the Layers dialog is not present, press Ctrl-L or select Windows|Dockable Dialogs|Layers from the menu.

2005 pontiac blowing warm air

This could be the blend door on the heater. It is stuck on the wrong position because it is not fully in the heating mode. I certainly hope that no one changed all those parts without checking the mode and blend doors first.

I have a 1992 dodge dynasty and the ac is stuck blowing on the floor it want change I think its the blend door but not sure can you help me

You are close! The mode selector door is the one that has the problem. IT is the same principal as the blend door. Look on the plenum (box that houses the motor and levers for the heater, under the dash) and move the heat and cold select and see which one moves on the plenum, do the same for mode.

Can I use a synthetic blend oil instead of full synthetic oil in my 2006 cadillac SRX

I would check with an oil/lube co on this issue.I personally would not.Sometimes when you change blends a vehicle will start burning oil.

My 1998 Buick park avenue burns gas faster than it usually does. What should I do.

If you use ethanol blended gasoline this is normal. ethanol blended fuel doesn't burn as well as regular unleaded

if you use unleaded non-blended fuel
A good thorough tune up should remedy this.

change spark plugs and wires
air filter
fuel filter
engine and transmission oil and filters should do the trick

control head bad or blend door in heater case under dash is bad. Blend door motor can be electric or vacuum. Do other modes change?

2 vents blow semi cold aair and the other 2 blow hot air

You have a blend door issue under dash. Also possible blend door actuator motor may have failed. Try moving the mode select dial on control panel back and forth and listen for air sound change under dash at both sets of vents. If do not hear air flow change door is not moving.

1999 cadillac Deville cold air blowing out passenger side vents

Sounds like a Blend door issue, but could be the controller switch, Test ALL modes of operation to see what works and what does not. That should narrow it down a bit. The Blend doors are flap/ doors that regulate air flow, newer vehicles are plastic - electric assemblies ...prone to failure. Any clicking or thumping noises during switching modes and on-off suggest a bad Blend door. Hope that helps...good luck

Heating system only blows out hot air through the vents

I would look at the air blend doors first, it sound like they are not working or your control in the dash is not working send a signal to them. they work by changing the air from hot to cold or in between.
