Question about Fuji FinePix F30 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Hello: My Fuji F30 recently started taking pics at 240 F2.8 regardless of light situations (with no flash selected) causing very overexposed pics. If flash is used, the pictures are correct. Also, it works properly in movie mode. Thanks for any advise, Ethan

Sometimes fine lines but other times like a burst of light. This just started happening recently. But when I take a picture in the dark with the flash the photo turns out fine. Any answer as to what caused this? Thanks

Pictures with a flash are way overexposed. It just started this so I am sure there is something wrong with the flash. Pictures without a flash are fine

My Fuji has started doing the same thing!
The only way I can get a reasonably exposed photo is to place a piece of white paper in front of the flash to act as a diffuser.
Any info you can find out would be appreciated...even if to know that this is a permanent situation.
Still takes GREAT outdoor and moon shots!

It says "frame no full" and won't take any pics, even though the memory card is empty

You have reached image No. 999-9999 somehow :-)
Press Menu/OK, select Setup, Select Frame No., switch from Cont. to Renew, Press OK.
Format the card. Numbering has now started from 1 again.
Switch Frame No. back to Cont.

Power button doesn't turn

Try spraying electric contact cleaner into the spot where the power button is located. This worked for me.

Flash problem

Same here. Any flash picture comes out nearly bleached out. Started from one picture being fine to the next being white. I'm very frustrated because I love this camera. I have a Digi Rebel and prefer my Fuji 5000! Anyone have any ideas?

Overly white pictures

This may be due to jammed iris at fully open. You are over exposing the photographs. if the iris is stucked due to friction a little tappin your camera from side may help you.
