Question about HP DeskJet F4180 Inkjet Color All-In-One Printer
I used refills befor and it wprked perfectly. I just refilled the cartridge and since then I am getting a message that my tricolor ink is low. I followed all the steps recommended and even went back to the dealer sbout the refills. He tested the cartridge on his printer and it was fine but it won't work on my printer. Can you help?
Your printer will always think that refills for this cartridge are "empty" because there is no way to reset the ink levels on this type of cartridge. However, if the cartridge is not working you should be able to get a replacement from the refiller you purchased from. There are a few scenarios as to why the cartridge would print in his test printer and not yours. If they printed test pages from a stand alone printer, this does not make sure the electronics are functioning on your cartridge. If they used a test printer (CT-16, shoptester, etc..) it may be that the TSR is out on your cartridge.
