Question about Sony Xplod XM-1652Z Car Audio Amplifier
I have a Sony Xplod XM-1652Z Car Audio Amplifier and every time i turn it up it cuts out but no damedge no smell nuthin it just cuts out when i turn it up or if it hits a double bass or w/e the prblem might be that my amp cant give enough power to my subs cuz its 1000 watts and my two subs together is 1200 watts so wut is it?
This is normally caused from incorrectly wiring the subs, if you run the subs in the wrong ohmage, this can occur.
Doesn't matter what your amp produces, but the amp can over-heat from incorrect wiring on the subs and amp.
You should consult the amplifier's manual to run your subs at 4 ohms (not bridged on the amp)

The best thing to do is to get a amp that is more watts than your subs, not the other way around, speakers are known to handel a lil more power but amps cant produce more power than they are capable of... your ground wire should be thick also, say 6 to 8 mm or so, and its best to put in a cap and an equalizer.
