How do i sync the wirless controller to the xbox

There's a button on the front of your 360 and the same button is on the front of the controller. You hit the button on the 360 and the green lights around the power button start to circle. Then you hit it on your controller and the green lights around the xbox guide button start to circle. In a second or two they'll find each other and both will flash at the same time, and it's synced up. I've linked a video for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Slim.

I have problems with my Xbox 360 everytime i turn on the 360 there is a red circle. I tryed to fix it but it just won't work anymore how do i fix this Problem

Is there three red lights???? or a complete circle???? Three lights is the red ring of death. Four red lights or a circle is either a bad a/v cable (try a different one) or a bad hard drive....(try taking it off of the side when power is off then turn it on.).

Characters walk around in circle and move backwards .Just bought Modern warfare 2.character won't walk forward only backwards and in circles.same problem in Grand theft Auto Games. My console is xbox 360...

It sounds like you have controller issues, try using another controller and see if they still walk circles. If the joystick is not in the centre home postion when you turn on console it will read left/right/etc as the centre. Also try using a different battery in the controller, mine has the same charging issue and i found that jiggleing the plug and play cord can sometimes turn the charger cord from green(or nothing) to red. Good luck..

The power comes on but a red circle is around it.

That is called the red circle of death and is usually caused by the heating and cooling of the circuit board, video, and processor chips solder junction failing. It can sometimes be fixed at home if you are handy. Search the internet and U Tube there you will find solutions and tutorials about this problem. If in warranty send it in otherwise you might want to try fixing it yourself, I have successfully repaired two that way.

HELP

will be a hardware error
will have to contact microsoft there is a temperory fix for this problem. what you need is two towels just normal bathroom towels take everything out of your xbox e.g
harddrive, controlers etc only things to leave in is the av cable and power supply as you wanna turn
on the xbox lie a towel flat on the ground and lie the xbox on its side ontop of the towel turn the
xbox on, you will see the error message and the red lights flash. wrap the towel around your xbox
covering the air vents and then the 2nd towel put over the top. leave it on in the towels for about
20 mins then after that take all the towels off turn off the console and leave to cool down for 15
mins. turn the xbox on and it should restart again fine but only lasts for a couple of days then you
have to do it again. wont fix it but will let u play while microsoft gets it.

hope this helps please rate me

regards Grant

Which 3 lights? Are they on the circle that shows the number of controllers communicating with the machine? Is the light on your power suplly red? If it is te lights around the circle (power button) then it is probably a communication error with your controller, or if the 360 isn't powering up, it could be an problem with the systems BIOS. In either case, you might want to look at using that warranty, that is, if you still have one.
