How do I change the font size on my ebay, google etc. pages in internet explorer. I can change the size/style of what I type i.e. emails, search, etc. (thru tools, drop down to internet options, fonts and enter)and I can change the size of the fonts on the tool bar (file, edit, view, favorites, tool, help) and the address bar, but the printing on web pages and the drop down boxes on ebay is so tiny that I can't make it out. ---this isn't an age thing, the printing is miniscule. Someone else used my laptop and when I logged on I couldn't make out the text on pages. Of course, no one claims to have touched anything.

Hi,
The solution is simple but very many people don't know how to do it.
Basically it's like a zoom function on a web page.

If you hold down the Ctrl key and then use the + and - keys to zoom in and out on a web page. - denotes zoom out and + denotes zoom in.

Regards.

How do I fix truncated on g mail

Gmail comes with 11 fonts, 70 colors (both for text and highlighting,) four font sizes, bold, italics and underline text styles.

All of these can be used to format an email, but they must be applied manually every time you write an email.

By utilizing Google Mail Labs, however, you can set Gmail to format an email automatically to any text style.

Sign into your Gmail account.
Access Google Mail Labs. Start by clicking on "Settings" at the top right part of the Gmail homepage.

On the Settings page that appears, click on the "Labs" tab, which is the fourth tab from the right.
Enable Default Text Styling.

Scroll down the alphabetical list until you find "Default Text Styling," and then click on "Enable." Scroll to the top and click on "Save Changes" under the Mail Labs introduction.

Your computer's browser will refresh.
Click on "Settings" at the top right portion of the Gmail homepage.

On the Settings page that appears, you will see a Default Text Styling option under the "General" tab.

The box will look just like the formatting box in an email.
Set the text style of your choosing.

You can reset the text style by clicking on the underlined T with a red X on it.
Click on "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

The browser should refresh.

Can't get the font to change when I am composing an e-mail

Which email account ?
You can easily change the appearance of outgoing email messages in Hotmail by changing the , style and color of the typeface (font). For incoming messages, you can change the display options including the number of messages per page, line width, message headers and Internet content. Use Rich-Text formatting in messages to change the of fonts, the color and the style and add background color and emoticons. Click the "Mail" tab, click "New" to compose a new message and then click "Tools." Check Rich-Text Editor "ON." If the icons are visible in the tool box in your New Mail page, and the dropdown menu says Rich-Text Editor OFF, then Rich-Text Editor is already on. Click on the "Font Size" icon in the "New" or "Reply" box before you write your email. Choose from a tiny to a very large font . Change the appearance of the type by clicking on "Font Style." Choose from serif, sans serif or a "handwriting" style. Change the appearance of incoming messages by clicking on "Options" in the upper right hand corner. On the left side of the page, click "Mail." Click on "Mail Display Settings" to change the number of messages it shows and to adjust other options. Hope this helps.

Go to your settings on the inbox main page and change the font size. Also it could be your internet browser settings. With internet explorer, it allows you to change the font size. In that situation you would have to go to the internet explorer options and change it manually.

Font is very big

Hi jjsbeach...

You need to check two places to see about reducing the font size.
Note: > ...means to go to or next
1...Look in the right hand corner at the bottom of the page and you will see may see 100%...if you do not then click on the arrow down and a window will open allowing you to size the window from 50% to 400%.
2...Left double click "Start">Control Panel>Appearance and Themes>Display>Appearance, look down at the font size and make sure it is set to "normal"...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are sending an email and you want to make the font smaller, larger, or a different style then you will need to open your email and look at almost 1/4 down the page on the left hand side of the page, you are looking for a tiny pair of sissors in line with other items, in that row you can change your font/style/size.
You can adjust the size of your font/change font style, etc. all from the bottom of that window
