Where are the fuses located on the Pansonic CT-32SX31 32" TV?

How are you supposed to remove the fuse? Removing the panel for the AC cord yields a hole too small for a hand. I tried to use a pair of forceps. I was able to remove the fuse, but then it popped out of the forceps and into the bottom of the TV, so I don't even know for sure that the fuse was the problem. Do you know how much the TV weighs? I recall it took all three delivery guys to put it in the armoire, and it was still a struggle. It hasn't moved from there in six years.

I have a Panasonic colour TV CT-27SX11CE with the same problem; it won't turn on. I tried the solution given here for a CT-32SX31 TV by Terryfic (posted Dec. 19, 2007); I followed the AC cord, I removed the cover plate, I don't see a glass fuse. I can see some components but don't know what they are, fuses maybe?

I wasn't able to retrieve the fuse from inside the TV, but Radio Shack had replacement 6.3 amp slow-blow fuses and I was able to get one into the receptacle, being a little more careful with the foreceps this time. That's all it took, and the TV is working again. Thanks Terryfic, for identifying the location & type of fuse.

SOURCE: Won't turn on

Once you take the back off there is a glass gma fuse withing a few inches of where the power cord plugs into the board at. This should be a 6.3 or 6.5 gma fuse. Very common to blow in your model because the degausing coil is a little to big for it. There are other reasons for it to blow but 99% of the time you change change it and the set will work again. Let me know if you need more help or info!

If I connect antenna coax to the tv in on my dish receiver, can I get ota programming on my non-digital signal ready tv with out a stb?

Hi James,

Normally, no. Most areas have gone digital-only. Here in Canada, just about everywhere has completed Phase II of our DNU (Digital Network Upgrade) regulated by the CRTC... meaning that you will need a STB to view any sort of programming.

Check with your local cable provider to see what's up. They'll know for sure.

Hope this helps!

This is a bad connection in the power supply, or a bad connection in the high voltage supply, and could also be expensive to repair if the regulator board is intermittent. I say if you can take it back, good riddance. Good Luck

My pansonic tv model ct-13r37s won't turn on by

if their is no any power indicator at the front panel the cause is either the primary fuse at the power supply section blown. and then if the fuse is blown that was mean the regulator transistor and the horizontal out put transistor could also damaged. this case can be hand held by trained technician. if you want a do it with your own just make sure you have at least a basic knowledge in electronic repair since you are dealing with some high voltage parts a care must be needed.

Horizontal lines across TV screen Pansonic CT 35g25

Check its vertical output section circuit for any component damage or loose soldering terminals. Check the solder terminals of the vertical output IC. Resolder all the suspected solder terminals by applying al little more fresh solder, without making any solder bridge short in between adjacent solder terminals.
If this do not help you, replace the vertical output IC. Lose of Vertical Scan is the problem of your TV.

Where is the fuse on a Panasonic CT-32HC43. It just won;t turn on. It was working great and then nothing.

The fuse is located on the power supply board. It looks like a small glass tube with metal caps at both ends like the ones in the image below on the board next to it you will see a small marking that says the specifications of the fuse. Ex: 10A(Read 10 Amperes), 120V. The replacement you are gonna purchase should be of the same specifications. Make sure you unplug the tv from the power supply before replacing it so that you will avoid the risk of electric shock.
A positive rating for the advice provided will be highly appreciated and I will be glad to assist you further if you need more help.
