This is a generic problem. Please return to store if under warranty, it will be replaced else you might have to lodge in for repairs on personal pay.

This is becoming too regular of this model of product.

Take note.

I need to put bobin in place but Nedle dosent take the tread up

Make sure you are using a brand new needle and that is inserted correctly (there is right & wrong way!).

If it still will not pick up the bobbin thread, most likely the needle/hook timing is off. Take it for service.

I cannot locate my instruction manual am having problems inserting a new needle. I am also having miner problems with loading the bobbin. Please could you advise

Needle insert: The flat part of the needle goes to the back usually.
a. Loosen the needle screw and push the needle inside the hole w/flat to the back.
b. If it doesn't seem to go in then turn the needle slightly like a screw while pushing upwards.

Bobbin insert:
Make sure you turn the hand wheel until the hook (rotating thing under bobbin that is sharp) is to the back or upwards if it is a side bobbin.
Follow instructions by diagram. They are very similar for most machines.

I have a Barudan Elite BEDT-ZQ-501 machine, how do I adjust the needle bar height?

Have you checked the user manual? I have searched online but have not had much success. Plenty of hits on the machine but not associated with user manual. Sorry can't do better!

What type of needle and where can I buy?

If you buy a "universal" needle at a sewing shop or even at the walmart, it should get you going.

How do I fix a White sewing machine #445 that keeps breaking the upper thread

Check the thread spool to make certain the thread is not getting snagged on the edge of the spool (or the little slit where you pull out the thread from the spool); then check your tension paths and settings (I once found broken, tangled metallic thread in the needle 'uptake' loop that was snagging the thread and making it break).
Canned air is excellent for cleaning out older models as well as the new electronic machines.

While hemming jeans with my Janome 7061NX (using a 100/16 sharp), it skips stitches at the thick seams.

try a denim needle
Skipped stitches
1. The needle is not inserted correctly
Remove needle & reinsert needle( flat side towards the back of machine)
2. The needle is damaged
replace with new needle
3. The wrong size needle is being used
Choose a needle to suit the thread & fabric
4. The foot not attached correctly
Check & attach correctly

Needle not picking up bottom thread. Whilst sewing thick fabric my needle broke.i replaced the needle but it was not picking up the stitches evenly. I put it away got it out today cleaned the bobbin race...

Remove the needle plate and the bobbin case.

Ensure that the needle is inserted all the way up into the needle clamp.

Set the machine for straight stitch, center needle position.

Slowly turn the handwheel in the normal sewing direction and observe the following hook timing setting:

When the needle reaches it's lowest point and travels up 3.5mm, the point of the hook should be directly behind the needle, or at least within 1 or 2mm.

Another view is as the hook passes the needle, it should pass the needle slightly above the eye of the needle.

If the timing looks good, use some alcohol on a bit of cloth to clean the hook, careful around the tip of the hook as it is very sharp.

If the hook timing is off, you will need to take it to a knowledgeable service person as there are several possible solutions and several other related adjustments which will need to be made.
