Question about Compaq Presario 5000 PC Desktop
I am attempting to find out if my presario is equiped with :usb 2.0? Ilink? usb interface? If possible, I would like a printout of is original equipment inside..thank ypu
If this computer is running Windows, go to the control panel, click on the "system" icon, then click on "device manager".
That will tell you in detail what you have.
It's easier to tell from looking at the case.
You'll know if you have USB. If you're looking for iLink, it will be called "firewire".
If you want to make sure you have USB 2.0, it's probably USB 2.0 if the PC is 2-3 years old or newer.
I assume you're asking for this because you want to see if you move video to it? If you want to use iLink/Firewire, you can probably add an expansion card. Same for USB 2.0.
