I have a Poulan Pro 22" high wheel self propelled mower. I need some advise on how to get the bottom end apart after you take the blade off so I can change the drive belt. It acts like it is slipping.

- The model number is PP6Y22CHA. It looks like you have to take the mower blade mounting bracket off the bottom to get a cover off on order to get the belt off the pulley. I'm not sure how to get the mounting plate off. (or maybe there is another way)
Thanks for your help.
IF YOU WOULD POST A MODEL NUMBER FOR THE MACHINE THAT YOU WANT ADVICE FOR, IT WOULD SAVE A LOT OF TIME AND SOMEONE WOULD BE ABLE TO HELP YOU. IF WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE WORKING ON, WE DON'T KNOW WHAT ADVICE/ASSISTANCE TO OFFER!!!

- If you are referring to the blade adapter, spray some penetrating oil on the shaft above it and let it soak for a while, after it has soaked, take a small hammer and tap downward on the adapter while pulling downward on it away from the engine. Be careful to not strike it so hard that you break it. They usually come off with just a little effort

If self-propelled destroys the bearings within the wheels, Paulan should redesign. It is ridiculous to have to constantly replace the wheels because a bearing goes bad. Consider making your product with something other than plastic.
