Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

I can't get my Epson Stylus CX3810 printer to work with my Vista Home Premium edition. (It worked formerly on my pre-Vista Microsoft software.) When I go to add a printer and scroll down the Epson driver software list, my model is not listed. So what do I do now? Thanks. Reynold Feldman

I tried this approach before and it did not work. Do you have another possible solution? Tx, reynold22

I'm having difficulty finding driver software to use my old Epson Stylus CX3810 printer with my new laptop (Acer Extensa 4420-5239) using Windows Vista Home Premium software. (My old computer used Windows XP Home Edition.) I downloaded apparently applicable software from Epson, but my computer failed to recognize my printer. So nothing happened. When I tried to add a new computer by carefully following the Windows Vista instructions for doing so, my printer model didn't show up on the long list of Epson printers. What should I do? I found out during my download attempt that I can't use this printer with my current computer software. C'est la vie. Now I know! Thanks, reynold22

Thanks very much. The problem is now solved. Even the scanning function is working. My 3-in-1 is now a 3-in-1 again. Aloha, reynold22

All you have to do is download and install the software that is at the epson site. Just select printers from the download tab at the site. It even free.

epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?oid=56291069

Hope this helps.

Go to the web site below and download and install
Twain Driver ver 3.04 for Vista and the Printer Driver version 6.5 or 5.5 for Vista
The Twain Driver ver 3.04is number 5 down the list for both 32-bit and 64-bit Vista
If your computer is 64 bit, and that is what I thought your computer was, because you have home premium. Then you need number 4 down the list. It be number 5 if you have 32-bit Vista.

The printer driver version 6.5 is number 4 down the list
    www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/.../supDetail.jsp?oid

When you go to that web site you'll see a tab Support and Driver-select tab
Next select All in One-view all
and then a meun will display and select your printer model and just follow the steps To the file to download above.

Sorry, I didn't catch it earlier.

You didn't state what the new tower operating system installed was, but, all of the drivers for this printer are still available from the Epson Website. Click on the link and match the driver download with your operating system.

How to get Epson R300 stylus monitor to work in Vista

I have the same problem with my stylus C88. Epson never did provide Vista drivers so I have never found a way to get the Epson software to work with Vista. The print driver does work so you will be able to print but you'll have to clean the nozzle manually by pushing the button on the printer rather than using the Epson Monitor. Sorry.
