Question about Hardware & Accessories

I am trying to program our Simplex 6100 school bell timer. I cannot get the bell to stop ringing after a 3 to 5 seconds. I know it is something simple that I am not doing, but I have tried everything that I know to do. Can you give me the step by step directions say for entering a 7:20 bell?

I have a simplex 6100 program timer I am trying to figure out how to set the bell schedule. I have put the bells schedule in but the bells are not ringing.

Re-check the program to verify that the bell circuits are scheduled to turn on, and that the duration is correct. I assume you have the manual since you have programmed the bell schedule. If not, it can be found here: http://www.nawcc.org/images/stories/member_pdfs/574-401.pdf

We have no power to our timer. I have tried the breaker with no avail. Could they have disconnected when they changed our phone system?

You will need to verify that 120V power is at the panel. If so, the problem is with the control unit power supply. If not, then something has been reconfigured in the electrical circuit.

How do I turn off the bells in a Simplex 6400 clock system

Turn all six switches all the way down. Flip them to the middle position when you want them back on.

Setting the alarm on a simplex 6100

It is a little complicated. Here is a link to the manual.

Look it over and call an installation company if it doesn't look like something you want to attempt.

Unable to change time and program

HA hA ha ha who posted these suggestions? For a time change press "run" "clk" "the time in military time 2:55pm woul d be 14:55:00 and that's in hours:minutes:seconds" then press run again.

to set the day which is 1-7 and 1 equals Monday, Tuesday = 2, Wednesday =3 and etc... you'll have to press "run" "clk" "which day it is 1-7" "day" "run" to end it.

As far as programming the schedule for the bells I can't figure it out. I know it's something like "prg" "loc, which would be the location number 1-99 or however many location positions there are" then "time, 24hr military format again" then "day, 1-7(days of the week)" then "cde, which is the code format( have no idea what the code format is, but i just use 3 as the code" and then i assume it's "run" to end it but it doesn't work.

I need a timer that will ring a school bell 6 times a day Mon thru Fri for 4 seconds at a time.

You need a bell-ringing timer:
http://www.intermatic.com/products/timers/electronic%20time%20switches/next%20generation%20time%20switches.aspx

ET7011 Series has many functions including belling ringing.
Sample manual on link below: Manual is not the easiest to understand, but re-post a question any time and I'll try to pick up and answer.

I have a Simplex Bell clock here at the school. I'm trying to program it and am unable to get it to set. Please help me with instructions on how to set the bell clock and how to set it differently for...

Hey, BAC systems are usually microprocessor controlled and normally can be set from the controller with the different times and days the bell would be used. My school ditched their old analogue Simplex controller and retrofitted it with an Entek TC2100 digital time clock controller. I would contact Simplex and ask them for the manual for the control system. Or do what I did, PLAY WITH IT!
