No,it will only not reset if there is a fault.Try disconnecting the circuit from the breaker and if it resets you have a fault.

40 amp fuses continue tripping in a 1996 Chrysler Concorde

The owner's manual should delineate which circuits each fuse pertains to. Are they fuses that are blowing or circuit breakers that trip and can be reset?

Hager fuse box

by fuse box I assume you mean breaker panel. sometimes when a breaker goes bad, it can trip and you wont be able to tell until you go to reset it. if you are positive the dishwasher is getting power, then check the back of the dishwasher where the wires going in. there is probably a terminal block where the wires are connected. check there with a multi meter. be careful. use rubber gloves if you are going to do it.

Hager ES220 cant get the timer to work how do i set it i do not have any guidelines where can i get the information from ?

I am not familiar with that specific model number, but Hagar timers have more than one number since sellers apply their own numbers so their product appears unique.
I suggest contact Hagar:

Open following link for Hagar timer resources:

Hager ES220 does not show in the timer catalog:

Hoover Tumble Dryer trips out

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. It seems to be the issue with the Thermal Fuse going bad and needs to be replaced. It is mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. Whenever this fuse goes bad it'll either trip the circuit breaker or the dryer wont heat. You can also check it for continuity with an ohm meter, no continuity means the fuse is bad and you need to replace it. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Good Morning. The downstairs lights are not working.I checked the fuse box[Hager]and the fuse swich was off for the lights,i flicked this back on thinking lights would come back on [apart from supposed...

I assume you mean circuit breaker when you say fuse. If you reset the breaker to "on" and the lights still don't work, look for a GFI outlet somewhere in the circuit. It could be tripped which will shut off the current downstream from it if it is set up to guard the downstream circuit.

No radio and time & trip reset when car is off. After jump

We already know that's not a good idea. It causes havoc blowing as many fuses (which is better) and a real expensive disaster to the ones that were not fuse protected. Your alternator could be malfunctioning from this event and also consider solid state components be in a blown or fried state. Using a simple VOM will test for continuity of fuses and tell you if it's no good and replace the fuse. You've caused a disaster just by x-ing pollarity and by guestimating without the simpliest correct tools you will cause another which will burn a bigger hole in your wallet. The radio code is needed to unlock your radio. It is supplied in your radio owners manual and in a key tag attached to all your keys. For your instrument cluster I would think it's fried inside, rarely it could only be replacing the nicad battery that stores data for mileage info.

A hager b6 fuse has blown - normally the switch flips off and you push the switch back to on and power is restored - here the switch is limp and wont stay in the on position - i cannot see how you remove...

I have just done this myself and without blowing myself up.
1. Tools needed will be a torch and a philips screwdriver
2. Switch off your mains.
3. Check your mains are off
4. On the fuse itself they are two screws. One above the hager sign and one below. Unscrew these. The top screw keeps the wire in from the mains and bottom screw is to keep fuse screwed to the actual fuse box
5. You should be able to remove your fuse now
6. On your new fuse there will be a white piece at the back. Pull that down
7. When the fuse is removed you will see the wire which is now free and on the bottom a plug which is where your new fuse slots in.
8. Slot your new fuse on the plug and tighten the bottom screw.
9. Put your wire in place on the top of the fuse and tighten the top screw.
10. Switch your new fuse on the "on" position.
11. Put back your cover on your fuse box
12. Switch your mains back on.
