Question about Dell 962 Photo All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Compatible with Mac OS?

Hi:

Anyone know if this printer is compatible with Mac OS (Leopard)? I've been running it in Windows but have recently made the switch to Mac OS. Dell doesn't have any drivers, but I was wondering if there were generic drivers somewhere?

Thanks.

I've since tried both the Lexmark drivers (apparently the Dell is a re-badged Lexmark) and the open-source Mac generic drivers. Neither worked.

I bought a new HP C7250 (All-in-One Wireless) and it works great with both Mac and Windows.

    Thanks for your help.

I have the same problem and I haven't been able to get anything out of Dell.

This printer is NOT compatible with Mac OS. I ended up giving it away and getting an HP Photosmart C7250 All-in-One that is working great.

Canon PIXMA MX870 Wireless Printer works with Snow Leopard OS?

The MX870 is compatible with Mac OS X, all versions. I think the CD that comes with the unit will have the Mac Snow Leopard drivers on it, but if not you will be able to download them here.

I work with Mac OS (Snow Leopard) and my Mac don't recognize the Agfa Snapscan e25. What should I do? Regards

Snow Leopard has a bunch of drivers built in to control various printers.  If it doesn't recognize the printer, then you will have to go on Agfa's web site to see if they have a printer driver compatible with Snow Leopard.  Keep in mind that Snow Leopard is a new OS and that printer manufacturers will take some time to update their programs and drivers to run on it.  If you don't find a driver then, you got to use a different printer or downgrade your OS to one that will run the printer.

Scanner won't operate on HP PSC1410 All in one with Leopard

Hi, as per HP's support page on this product here

It seems that there aren't any drivers compatible with Leopard for this printer at the moment. The latest OS supported is Mac OS X Tiger... You will have to wait untill HP do something for leopard...
