If you are running Windows, system restore will fix the problem.Another way is to go to the site for the manufacturer of the computer. They should have driver down loads for all your accessories.

Did you installed anything on your computer recently? It might be a connection from that software. You can perform a system restore to the date that your web cam works or check for virus.

Web Cam Not functioning properly

You may uninstall the web cam driver from the Device Manager then restart the Computer. After restarting the Computer, please reinstall the web cam driver. You may locate the Web cam driver under the Imaging Devices category in the Device Manager. If the issue persists then you may perform System Restore to restore the system files to the time when the web cam worked normally.
