"Error retrieving information from server"[RPC:S-3]

It's a windows 7 server error and thus most likely the fault of the web site in question. It's failing to verify your log-in. You may have to remove your gmail account log-in from the tablet.

Try going Settings>Accounts>Google>Tap your account> tap three dots in the upper right (or press menu button) "Remove Account".
Go to "Settings"->"Applications"->"Manage Applications"
Select "All"
Scroll to and tap "Google Play Store"
Tap "Force Stop", tap "OK", tap "Clear data", and tap "OK".
Tap the Back button to get back to the applications list.
Scroll to and tap "Google Service Framework" (or Google Play Services)
Tap "Force Stop", tap "OK", tap "Clear data", and tap "OK".

Tip

An operating system "OS" or "DOS"

Operating Systems Means, Tips & Tools.Microsoft Windows Server 2008 is the company's latest server operating system. Officially launched in February 2008, Windows Server 2008 is the successor to Microsoft's previous server OS, Windows Server 2003.
"The other is Disk Operating System, in a general sense, DOS refers to just about any operating system. More commonly, it describes the operating system Microsoft developed in 1981 for IBM's line of personal computers. Though syntactically distinct, DOS shares similarities with a Unix shell. It has a command-line interface and analogs to many common Unix commands. However, DOS is a 16-bit, single-user operating system that does not support multi-tasking. It is far easier to administer than Unix, but less powerful. Compared to graphical interfaces such as Windows and Mac OS X, it's also not particularly user-friendly."
An operating system sometimes abbreviated as "OS".Operating System is the program that being initially loaded into the computer by a boot program or manages all the other programs in a computer. The other programs are called applications or application programs. The application programs make use of the operating system by making requests for services through a defined application program interface (API). In addition, users can interact directly with the operating system through a user interface such as a command language or a graphical user interface (GUI).
An operating system performs these services for applications:
  1. In a multitasking operating system where multiple programs can be running at the same time, the operating system determines which applications should run in what order and how much time should be allowed for each application before giving another application a turn.
  2. It manages the sharing of internal memory among multiple applications.
  3. It handles input and output to and from attached hardware devices, such as hard disks, printers, and dial-up ports.
  4. It sends messages to each application or interactive user (or to a system operator) about the status of operation and any errors that may have occurred.
  5. It can offload the management of what are called batch jobs (for example, printing) so that the initiating application is freed from this work.
  6. On computers that can provide parallel processing, an operating system can manage how to divide the program so that it runs on more than one processor at a time.
All major computer platforms (hardware and software) require and sometimes include an operating system. Linux, Windows 2000, VMS, OS/400, AIX, and z/OS are all examples of operating systems.

Server being too much slow

Hi

Follow to mention below instruction to Increase the speed in you server.
  1. Up grading the Hardware - The most important factor of getting better speed is by upgrading the existing hardware such as your hard drive, RAM and CPU.
  2. Cache Settings - There are multiple things that can be cached on a webserver, that includes the sites as well. Starting at the minimum level with application caches and climb up to the Db cache, server cache, and web application cache. If the files are already cached in the system it will take less time to load the files the next time they are accessed, as compared to the files that are newly accessed.
  3. Tool to check cache- Linux Drop Cache, etc.,
  4. Find and disable unimportant Services - There may be some services that are running even when the server is in the idle state. Such processes would not only consume RAM but might add to the CPU cycles as well. So disabling the services that are unnecessary or are not that important can further increase the speed of the server.
  5. Compiling applications from the Source - Optimizing the services and applications so that it they get compiled at source instead from the generic binaries can help you increase the speed of your web-server.
  6. Optimizing the web and Db server - It is recommended to optimize your web server and the database server on a regular basis. This would help the web-apps to operate faster and with a much more efficient manner.
If my solution make you happy then give me 4 thumb
Thank

Donwload multiple files from server to client using asp.net

Sir,

How to have NAT open on EDimax router BR-6216mg

The router of course allows you to forward ports to different IP’s. It does not have any pre-configured application ports to choose from though. It also supports Virtual Server so you can set up a server inside the network and direct the traffic from outside to it.Some applications require multiple connections to work. When you log into the router(it uses web interface)it gives you an option which says NAT.On this screen you can set up a trigger port for an application which will open up a range of ports for the application. Edimax has included a list of popular applications (games and applications) which can be selected. If the game or application you are using is not included you have to find out yourself which ports to open.

What is mean by multithreading and multitasking?

Multitasking - It means running multiple programs at 1 time.
For Example running a game and windows media player simultaneously.

Multithreadind : this means that how many data threads can the processor process at a given time.
Faster multithreading means that u ll breeze through your applications.

Hello

SOCKS is an Internet protocol that facilitates the routing of network packets between client-server applications via a proxy server. SOCKS performs at Layer 5 of the OSI model - the Session Layer (an intermediate layer between the presentation layer and the transport layer).

Clients behind a firewall may connect to a SOCKS proxy server in order to access external services through the firewall. Such a proxy server controls the eligibility of the client to access the external server and, if the client has eligibility, passes the request on to the server. SOCKS can also be used in the opposite way, allowing the clients outside the firewall ("exterior clients") to connect to servers inside the firewall (internal servers).

SOCKS software

* Kernel SOCKS Bouncer ksb26 (Kernel Socks Bouncer) is a Linux Kernel 2.6.x Loadable Kernel Module that redirects TCP connection (to user-defined target hosts) through socks 4/5 chains.
* SS5 Socks Server is an open-source SOCKS4/SOCKS5 server.
* Dante is an open-source SOCKS4/SOCKS5 implementation with commercial support developed by Inferno Nettverk A/S.
* OpenSSH allows dynamic creation of tunnels, specified via a subset of the SOCKS protocol, supporting the CONNECT command.
* WinSocks is a light-weight SOCKS4/SOCKS5 server developed by Proxy Labs.
* SOcat Multipurpose relay (SOcket CAT): includes socks4, and socks4a functionality (Linux / Mac)
* FreeCap Socksifyer for Windows, any App can run its network traffic transparently via a SOCKS or HTTP proxy.
* Simple Socks Server for Perl - SSS is a Simple SOCKS Server written in perl that implements the SOCKS v5 protocol.
* Sun Java System Web Proxy Server is a caching proxy server running on Solaris, Linux and Windows servers that supports HTtp://S, NSAPI I/O filters, dynamic reconfiguration, SOCKSv5 and reverse proxy.
* BarracudaDrive Web Server - commercial SOCKS HTTP HTTPS tunnel/server, available for Windows, embedded Linux and Mac OS X (PowerPC)
* DeleGate is a multi-purpose application level gateway and proxy server which runs on multiple platforms. Beside SOCKS it also supports HTTP(S), FTP, NNTP, SMTP, POP, IMAP, LDAP, Telnet, DNS and many more.

What is servlets?

Java Servlet technology provides Web developers with a simple, consistent mechanism for extending the functionality of a Web server and for accessing existing business systems. A servlet can almost be thought of as an applet that runs on the server side--without a face. Java servlets make many Web applications possible.  » Read More The reference implementation is included in the Java EE 5 SDK and also in the open-source Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) application server, available through the GlassFish project, which you can download from java.net. The reference implementation source code is available from the servlet-sources project on java.net.

PC question, ignore if you don't have time

The HT feature increases the performance. well if your computer runs better I suppose it would be better to have it on, but if it slows things down then I would close it.

Heres what wikipedia says about the performance

Performance

The advantages of Hyper-Threading are listed as: improved support for multi-threaded code, allowing multiple threads to run simultaneously, improved reaction and response time.
According to Intel, the first implementation only used an additional 5% of the die area over the comparable non-hyperthreaded processor, yet yielded performance improvements of 15–30%.
Intel claims up to a 30% speed improvement compared against an otherwise identical, non-simultaneous multithreading Pentium 4. The performance improvement seen is very application-dependent, however, and some programs actually slow down slightly when Hyper Threading Technology is turned on. This is due to the replay system of the Pentium 4 tying up valuable execution resources, thereby starving the other thread. (The Pentium 4 Prescott core gained a replay queue, which reduces execution time needed for the replay system, but this is not enough to completely overcome the performance hit.) However, any performance degradation is unique to the Pentium 4 (due to various architectural nuances), and is not characteristic of simultaneous multithreading in general.

Not stupit at all, If you need anything else let me know.

Thanks,
Ekse
