Is it Possible to Have 2 operating Systems on One Hard Drive? And Be able To Choose Which one to use at the Boot Screen? I Would like to install Ubuntu Linux without Erasing Windows Vista...

you have to partition your hard drive and put win on one partition and linux on the other partition
then when it boots up yo set your bios to ask which os you want and go enter on it and it will boot that os for you or i think that you can put an icon on desktop and double click on that to open the os system
talk with a computer geek to see how it is done

I.robot tablet reformat

Go to settings and touch backup and restore, then touch restore and if it gives you the option, put a tick in erase everything or erase SD card. Touch restore and the tablet will reboot. If it is a chinese tablet, be aware that you will have to reset it's language to your preferred option. If you've never had to do this before practice by going to the language settings and remember it's icon to be able to go back to it after the tablet is restored. Hope this helps.

My computer got corrupted by a cut to my external telephone line. I managed to put everything back but the sound devices seem to be missing - How do I put the sound back in?

I think it might be the problem of the sound driver, if that is the case reinstall your sound driver and you will get the sound on your PC.

I am seeking to restore my computer to an earlier date to get my sound back

You can only restore once you have made a restore point. Then you can restore your system back to the time of that restore point. I don't think going back to a set restore point is going to fix your sound unless you made changes to volume and configurations like muting your sound. Restore points won't put your drivers back in if they are damaged or missing. Open "Control Panel" and then go to "Sound and Audio Devies" Click the option to put volume in taskbar and then open the volume control. Make sure that "Mute" isn't checked and slide the volume controls back up. You should also go to "Control Panel" and "System" then to "Device Manager" and make sure you can see your sound card an that there isn't a mark next to it. Check with the manufacturer of your computer system and see if there are updated drivers for your sound card.

Am interested in getting the base of this problem. It sounds familiar. Please restate it. You need to be careful at this point so you don't lose your important documents. begin thinking back up while fix the problem.
