Question about Maytag Neptune MDE5500AY Electric Dryer
The dryer is a whirlpool model LGR8648PWO. The coils burned out about tywo years ago, and now the same thing is happening again. I do not want to pay someone for a five minute repair. WHERE ARE THE COILS LOCATED? How do I remove them once I find them?
You need to remove the four door screws,
take off the door , remove the white cowel
remove the top dogs
open the top and look behind the tumbler
