Dryer is making a loud screeching noise

Most likely, the rear drum bearing, a drum roller, or a drum slide has failed. Most models do not have all three types of drum support, usually one or two types. (Rear bearing with front sliders, rear rollers with front sliders, front and rear rollers, etc.)

Could possibly be a belt idler pulley or motor bearings, too.

You should diagnose and find the problem, before buying the parts.

Where are the green tabs on the drum unit that I'm suppose to slide

When looking at the drum and cartridge combined. The embossed Brother Logo should be up the correct way. Above this logo on the Drum Unit itself near the top is the slider. Slide this all the way across and back. Making sure that the arrows on the slider meets up with the arrow on the Drum Unit. This process is cleaning the Corona Wire. If you leave the slider anywhere else but where the arrows meet you will end up with a solid line running vertically from top to bottom of the page where this slider sits.

My printer is low on yellow and magenta and is printing a stripe of each color on the papers edge.

On the drums for each colour there is a purple/blue/green slider for cleaning the corona wire. If there is a stripe of colour anywhere on the page going from top to bottom check these sliders. They need to be where the arrow on the slider meets the arrow on the drum casing.

As for low toner on the Yellow and Magent - Replace the cartridges.

Getting the message clean drum. Clean corona wire of drum unit. Need instructions on how to clean unit. What parts to I need?

You do not need any parts, just do the following.
1. open the front toner cover
2. take out toner and drum together
3. on the back side of drum unit you will see green or purple slider (it is used to clean corona wire)
4. push that slider few times from left to the right.
Important notice: you must leave slider on exact position to match black arrow on the drum unit.

My clothes are being ruined in the dryer..I have the DCVH515 frontload model...clothes getting caught inside..i think some kind of seal from the inside around the door opening is gone..clothes are getting...

I have had the same problem for about 6 months. I have been sticking duct tape on the inside over where my clothes were getting hung/caught. It works :) but the heat makes the duct tape peel off so you have to keep replacing it. We finally had to call a repairman when the drum started making a horrible noise. He came out this morning and said one of the "sliders" the drum rolls on had broken. He said when the sliders begin cracking it can make a very slight gap where the clothes were getting caught. I have run 3 loads this morning and had only one dishtowel get hung whereas before multiple items in each load were doing it. He said there are multiple sliders so it may happen again.

He also said the clothes getting hung was an indication of a breaking slider so you may want to call a repairman to head off your drum doing what mine did. It cost me a total of $105 and I live in SE Texas.

Drum error see maint manual

There is a charger wire inside the drum. It has a blue slider on top of it. Slide the blue slider from one end to the other a few times. Blow any toner dust out of the charger wire and reclean with the slider. If that does not cure then a new drum is required.

How do i remove the drum and clean the corona?

On the both sides where is your manual feed you will find dent for finger. Pull it towards you and down and doors are open. Now you will see drum unit with toner. Take the center of drum unit and pull it towards you.
Drum unit is in your hand.
On opposite side, on right corner you will see cleaner slider with arrow on it. Take it with your fingers and push it in left/right direction few times (warning : upon finishing is mandatory to leave slider on right side, so arrow on the slider will point to arrow on the drum).

Hope it helps

We have a Brother TN350 Fax Machine in our office. It tells me that the drum has dust. How do I get to the drum? Should I replace the drum? How?

If you open the access door there should be a blue slider that you can move side-to-side to clean the corona wire.

I just replaced the drum and the toner, now there is a dark streak down the middle of every page that prints, What is the problem?

the ink where it come out maybe dirty as it usually does when changing
go to the print operation and run a clean up system and see if the colours come up ok
this method may use a bit of your ink but if in business needs this has to be done and proves ok
if problem persists , than take the toner out and with a bit of alcohol wipe and a dry wioe afterwards, clean the outlet
