Question about Whirlpool Calypso GVW9959K Top Load Washer
Check the water inlet valve. Unplug the machine, turn off the water and remove the water supply hoses. Check the small metal screens inside the openings on the valve. Make sure they are clear of rust or debris. The solenoids can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. A lack of continuity means a bad solenoid and the valve assy will need replaced.
