After you click on the word if the blue shade is not there, when you start to type it will just add to what you already have typed. If you click on the word and it turns blue shaded, you can over type it or click delete and it will delete it as well.

Wired in home system. window sensor is not operating.

Alarm door/window sensors of one of two types - magnetic and microswitch, both are available at retail stores (hardware and electronics stores sell them) - verify type of switch: magnetic has two parts one attached to door/window while the other is attached to the frame (and in turn this part is hardwired to your alarm system control unit); the micro switch type is one part on frame *usually under window, or on hinge side of door* - harder to replace due to how they are mounted - but can be replaced.
Either type use two wire connection - basically a positive and negative wire loop via the sensor.
Purchase new sensor of same type - and replace faulty sensor.

What type of ignition does 1988 cutlass ceria 3.8l have 1 or 2 ?????

BOTH types of ignition coils were used on 1988 Cutlass Ciera. Type 1 is a single unit with 3 coils built into it. If one coil goes bad, you must replace the entire unit. Type 2 incorporates 3 separate coils mounted on the control module. These coils can be replaced individually. (See picture below) You simply have to LOOK at your ignition coils to see which type your Cutlass is equipped with. Please note that these systems are NOT interchangeable.

Reset 10.5 Leopard & 10.6 Snow Leopard password
  1. Power on or restart your Mac.
  2. At the chime (or grey screen if your chime is turned off), hold down Command+S on your keyboard to enter single-user mode.
  3. Type mount -uw / and press Enter.
  4. Type launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.DirectoryServices.plist and press Enter.
  5. Type ls /Users and press Enter. This lists all of the usernames on the computer - helpful if you don't know or remember what these are.
  6. Type dscl . -passwd /Users/username password and replace "username" with one of the users displayed in the previous step. Replace "password" with a new password of your choice. Press Enter.
  7. Type reboot and press Enter.
Reset 10.4 Tiger password
  1. Power on or restart your Mac.
  2. At the chime (or grey screen if your chime is turned off), hold down Command+S on your keyboard to enter single-user mode.
  3. Type sh /etc/rc and press Enter/Return.
  4. Type passwd username and replace "username" with the short name of the user account for which you'd like to reset the password.
  5. Type your desired password and press Enter. It won't show itself on the screen, so be careful what you type. You will most likely have to enter it again to confirm.
  6. Type reboot and press Enter.
