Where can I get a new lakewood fan motor HV-21T for my 21" fan?

Where can I get a new lakewood fan motor HV-21T?
I really wouldn't care it it had the temperature part or not
So I think a fan motor HV-21 would work if I left off the temperature part

SOURCE: are replacement motors available for these fans?

mcdevito75 here, If the fan is not too old I would figure yes, but a replacement motor will cost as a new fan, if not more, then you have to install and the blades are a presss fit to the motor.

I HAVE A LAKEWOOD FAN MODEL # HV-14C, and the motor would stop after running the fan for awhile but now the fan does nothing ? now what?

Hi, If you have no sound at all and the fan stopped in mid-use it is probably the thermo protection located under the shrink wrap where the blue power wire comes into connection with the motor field winding. The continuity between the plug end and the blue wire at the Capacitor will be broken. Great care must be taken to prevent breaking the winding wire. The thread-like wire that is painted with varnish or shellac is connected befor the thermo protector, so you don't really have to actually open it up, rather, simply jumper the connection with wire of same gauge and put the new thermo protector inline just befor the capacitor.

Do you bypass the run capacitator on a lakewood model hv-18 fan with a 2.4 motor

More than likely it's not the start capacitor why your fan will not run this more than likely it's not the start capacitor why your fan will not run this lubrication try turning the fan motor by hand if it does not turn freely it's lubrication I have answered this another post.

more than likely it is lubrication spray WD-40 into the oil holes after you have unplugged the fan of course Keep turning the fan and you'll notice will start turning more freely apply more oil to the rear of the motor as this is an oil bushing you're putting more oil into

hope this solves your problem

on the fan motor there should be:
HP
RPM
Voltage
once you have that then the cheapest is eBay:

if the motor works, you do not need a new one ! sounds like the switch is bad. if you only get high speed. have a good day !

Sometimes a replacement motor is more expensive than a whole new fan. I know, it seems a shame to throw out a whole fan because a motor is more expensive.

My lakewood high speed floor model HV-21T stopped running. After shutting off it started running again but shut off again and this time the motor and cage was extremely hot. Also are new motors available on...

Try replacing the "start-run" capacitor. It is the rectangular black box mounted on a tab next to the motor inside the cage, two wires attached (cut them close as close to the capacitor body as possible). Other symptoms include not moving at all with a hum, and getting very hot. The capacitor is a 5% tolerance 8 microfarad rated at 250vac. It doesn't have to be the exact form factor but it does have to be heat rated at or above 70C per design parameters of the fan.

WARNING! Make sure to protect the leads properly because this capacitor is connected directly to the power mains during operation. If one of the leads electrically shorted against the fan housing or cage could cause a catastrophic failure of the fan, and possibly a fire, and possibly give a nasty shock to whoever was switching on the fan at the time.

No, it is either the speed control, capacitor or motor. You can get parts, if it worth your time, try nelsonappliance.com and part # LW007JRMOTOR

It seems like no power is going to the fan. it is completely dead when turned on

Fan is pretty simple, plug, cord, switch or motor. You can check the 1st 3 with an ohm meter. Just check for continuity, seeing if the different parts are good. If all are good, need new motor, or replace fan.
