Question about Panasonic Flat Panel Televisions
Won't turn on
Bad caps in the power supply. Replace all bad cap or replace Power Supply Module. If you choose to try and fix it yourself yourself will need a ESR Meter to check the caps in circuit. Let me know if this helps.

If it's like mine, there should be a screen mode button on your remote. Keep pressing it to change to different settings.

Sorry to say, when the display is broken you're best off looking for a replacement TV.
There isn't any way to repair a cracked display except to replace it. You can try a Google search or check websites like shopjimmy.com that sell parts removed from junked sets. It's almost impossible to find replacement displays (unless you are a warranty servicer and get them right from the manufacturer) since most TV's are junked because of broken displays. And if you do find a display, there are still potential problems. Besides the cost (the display is the most expensive part, most of the set's cost), you need to be sure the display is exactly the same part as the one you're replacing. The same model of TV can use different displays depending on when and where it was made, and there may be differences in other parts in the set as well.

I had the same tv, same problem. take the back cover off and look for the 250v ceramic fuse (looks like a glass tube type, but is porcelin) For ease of replacement and a cost of about $00.80. I would start there. If that does not take care of it, than you can move on to the other options.

This worked for me also. I bent the prongs further apart to achieve a tight connection with the power supply cord (as you are looking at the TV the power cord is on the rear right side and disconnects at the TV; bend the prongs on the TV and simply place the power cord back on) Thanks, saved me about $330 on a new TV!
