I have a clark dpm20n forklift that wont go forward or backwards. Can anyone give any advice? Thanks

clark forklifts have a safety device on the brake pedal hydraulics that prevents movement when lifting the forks
check the operation of that safety device as it may be jammed in the neutral position

The Clark serial number is stamped into the serial number plate, which is usually located in the operator's compartment. On a Clark lift truck, this will usually be beneath the step into the operator's compartment and may be either on the left or right side of the lift truck. Note:Rubbing the flat side of a piece of school chalk over the stamping may make the serial number more legible.

How far can the forks move from side to side?

the forks can generally move only 6-12 inches from side to side by using the 3rd lever. However, all modern trucks have forks that are easy to manually move. Just lift up the pin that is holding the fork in its groove, and put it in the groove where it will work best for what you're doing. don't forget to lock it again with the same pin

Gear selector honda shadow

Sounds like a bent shift fork or two. Replacing the bad shift forks is major surgery and is NOT recommended for the inexperienced mechanic. Several special tools are needed. The top end and gearbox get totally torn down just to get to the shift forks. This is a very expensive repair, guessing $2100 or so at the dealers. Bummer. Contact a few dealers to cofirm my view of the problem and the probable repair cost. The shift forks move left and right as the shift drum is rotated when you lift or push down on the shift pedal.

Forklift hydraulic connections on the mast.

So if you have three cylinders then the extend ports of the cylinders(bottom) should go to the 'A side of the valve and the Rod end or retract (top) should go to the "b" side. The A or B are probably not marked. Each cylinder should go to the valve at the coresponding lever.

Hope this helps you ask again for more..WF Servicesa6a0b4b.jpg
