SOURCE: Facebook won't open in Google Chrome or Internet Explorer

Here you go let me know how it works.... You may want to reset settings in Internet Explorer

Step 1:
In Chrome, click the wrench icon, select "Options" then "Under the hood". Hit the button at the bottom that says "Reset to defaults".

Step 2:
On the same screen, make sure "Use DNS pre-fetching" is un-checked.

Step 3:
On the same screen, scroll down and press the button that says "Change proxy settings".

Step 4:
This assumes you are on broadband (with a pen and paper, write down your current settings so you can back them up if things go wrong). Click on "Lan Settings". Make sure "Automatically Detect Settings" is un-checked. Click "Ok".

Step 5:
Go to the Window XP/Vista Control Panel (Start, Settings, Control Panel). Load up the "Network Connections".

Step 6:
You will now see a list of the network cards and bridges on your computer. Only one of these is used by your computer to connect to the internet. For example, if you are using wireless internet you will only be using the wireless connection. Right click on each other connection and select "disable". You should only have one enabled connection.

Step 7:
Restart your machine. Turn it off and on again. This is a very important step.

Step 8:
Google Chrome will now be working fully. If not, then clear your history and cache and restart the browser.

I cannot connect to FACEBOOK using my PC in the house... it seems that my ip is block beacuse i can log in in other pc's

Facebook has become an integral part of many people's daily lives by keeping them connected to friends and family, which can make not being able to get on the site quite frustrating. Facebook does experience occasional downtime and other issues, but if you're consistently having problems accessing it, a browsing filter, firewall or outdated software could be the culprit.

Browser Requirements:

You may have problems accessing Facebook if you haven't upgraded your Internet browser in awhile. As of 2011, Facebook recommends using Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3 or Safari 4 for the best user experience. Updates to these browsers are free and can be found at the companies' websites. Some older computers may not be able to run the latest browser version and, therefore, have trouble displaying Facebook and other sites correctly.

Home Blocks:
Home computers also have tools to block certain websites; parents often install them to keep kids' Web activity under control. If this is your situation, you will have to talk to Mom and Dad about unblocking Facebook for you. If you have a PC with multiple user accounts, the "admin" is often the only account with permission to install or uninstall filtering software and extensions; you'll need to be logged into this account to change a filter's settings.

Firewalls:

Many computers and their antivirus programs now enable firewalls by default. Firewalls help protect your computer from malicious viruses and software, but sometimes they block access to sites you legitimately want to access. If you suspect your firewall is limiting your Facebook access, check the settings in Windows' Control Panel or in the program that enables the firewall, such as your antivirus software or wireless router software. Making the settings more permissible could solve the problem.

I hope you find it very helpful.

I have a facebook account but i can not open the facebook.i typed my correct email and password.

Ensure you type in the correct email address (complete with @yahoo.com or whatever).
Also make sure you type the correct password (ensure caps lock is not enabled).

If you are still unable to access it then maybe it is just a temporary Facebook site issue.

The site occasionally blocks access for a certain chunk of users temporarily so that the staff can carry out routine maintenance procedures and software updates on those accounts. These lockout periods are normal and can last anywhere from a few hours to a day or two. Just try again tomorrow.

If the problem persists for more than a few days then click on the FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD? link on the main Facebook login page, follow the instructions, and check your registered email account for password reset instructions.

Good luck.

I cannot open facebook in my computer

Connect to internet and open internet browser and type facebook.com and enter the credentials and you should be able to login. If the site is blocked then it seems that someone has installed parental control and its blocking access to it. Try some proxy sites to get facebook access. Thank You.
