You can find these occasionally listed on eBay - I bought some aboy 3 months ago and there were several isted inetrnationally.

As for the song lists it depends on which publisher volumes you have.

SOURCE: Can I restore the machine, JB-199 Karaoke machine,

Welcome to Fixya

Try this procedure. Restoring the player will put back everything to the original state and that would mean deleting all the list that you created. You may try to reset the machine by pushing the small reet hole located at the back of the machine by using a needle or paper clip.

  1. Turn on your player w/o a disc
  2. Wait until the front displays says "no disc"
  3. press SETUP
  4. press UP ARROW 2 times (to Preferences)
  5. press ENTER
  6. press UP ARROW 3 times (to Defaults)
  7. and RIGHT ARROW once (to Reset)
  8. then press ENTER.
  9. Restart your player.
COMPLETELY RESET UNIT
  1. Make sure that there is no disc in the tray.
  2. Restart your player.
  3. When you see no disc sign, press Setup once.
  4. Press down arrow 4 times and press Enter once.
  5. Press down arrow 5 times and right arrow once.
  6. Press Enter once and Setup once.
  7. Restart your player.
Thank yuo for using Fixya!

I have a Pioneer LCV-300 Laser Karaoke player; but without the "receiver" or "commander" unit. Is this unit necessary for the disc changer portion to operate or power on?

I may have a CD-V300 commander Auto changer if you can supply me with an owners manual for a LC-V300 laser changer. I also have an auto changer CD-V2000 if you can use it. If you can please contact me. Thanks.

I just got a used karaoke laser disc player ...no manual.....can it be hooked straight to speakers or does it need to go through a receiver?

Hello, the karaoke laser disc player, does it comes along with a self ampilifer if it does, check for the serial ribbon cable that is used to interconnect the disc player to the self ampilifer and connect the speakers to the output port of the ampilifer and not directly to the laser disc player.
If it does not come with a self ampilifer, then you can connect the speakers direct to the laser disc player.
With the following above it will work effectively for you to enjoy the laser disc player...
