If are using Vista or Windows 7 operating system, go to VIEW at the top of the document you are going to print and in the drop down under VIEW select and click on the FOOTER & HEADER and click on it. Then when the Footer & Header page comes up DELET everything in both of them and then on the right of the Footer & Header click on CLOSE and it should take care of the problem.
This also applies to other Operating System’s.
Hope this helps, Bud

When i print a word document, the bottom of the letters aren't all printing. Is this the printer or something different

I would think it has something to do with the margins of the print settings...like maybe the headers or footers too..right when you go to print deselect headers or footers, and check the margin settings...

How do you get the printer to print the date on the bottom of the output sheet?

What operating system you are working with? WIndows 7? You can add a foot text in your driver. You need to go to 'options' and after that to 'page settings'. Here you will find a tab with header/footer options. Header is for top of the page, footer for the bottom. You can choose your style here.

The printer is feeding a blank sheet of paper between printed sheets. How do I rectify this?

This causes the printable area on the page to be that much less (10 3/4 or 10 1/2 on an 11 inch page). The software thinks the paper is 11 inches long and keeps track, down to the micro inch, where it is on the paper. When it reaches the 10 1/2 inches, your printer calls the page done and ejects it. However, the software thinks there is still another 1/2 inch to print (usually the footer area). Now when you insert a new sheet of paper, the software finishes printing the rest of the page (normally a blank footer) and form feeds to the next sheet. To correct what the software thinks the paper size is, you need to run the Preferences application and change the default settings. Select the Printer button. In the next window, select the 'Change Defaults....' button. Change both the Document size and the Paper size to a height of 10.875 and click OK. Try a new document to see if the paper size is correct. You may need to go back and change the height a few times until it is correct (the height changes in .125 increments). Usually either 10.875 (for 1/4 inch forced top margin printers) or 10.75 ( for 1/2 inch forced top margin printers) will work.

Disabling Auto-Print of Communication Result Report

It's in the "user parameters" in the "fax features" menu. No disrespect, but it's a needlessly complicated setting (all of the parameter settings are if you aren't familiar with Ricoh).

You can download the manual here if you don't have one (It's in the Printer /Scanner reference). Look in the index under "Communication result report".......good luck:

Remove from text

depending on the program you are using - you may need to go into the page setup section or footer section and either disable the footer or delete "confidential" from the footer section so that it doesn't print on your documents. Text in a header/footer will not display on the screen you are working on but will print on the final page.

Designing a document in book form and printing in Word 2007

When you select Book fold for your page setup, Microsoft Word prints two pages on one side of the paper. When you fold the paper, it opens like a book. This option is intended for documents that have more than two pages.
1. Set up your document as a booklet.
When you create a booklet, it's best to start with a new, blank document so that you have better control over the placement of text, graphics, and other elements. You can add a book fold to an existing document, but you may have to reposition some elements once the book fold is in place.
A. Start a new, blank document.
B. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Margins tab.
C. In the Multiple pages list, select Book fold.
If your document is not set to landscape orientation, Microsoft Word sets it to landscape.
D. In the Inside and Outside boxes, type or select the amount of space you want for the inside and outside margins (margin: The blank space outside the printing area on a page.).
If you need even more space along the fold to accommodate binding, type or select the amount of space you want in the Gutter box.
E. In the Sheets per booklet list, select the number of pages you want to include in a single booklet.
If the number of pages in the document exceeds the number of pages you select for a booklet, Word prints the document as multiple booklets.
F. Select any other options you want in the Page Setup dialog box.
G. Add text, graphics, headers or footers (header and footer: A header, which can consist of text or graphics, appears at the top of every page in a section. A footer appears at the bottom of every page. Headers and footers often contain page numbers, chapter titles, dates, and author names.), and other elements to your document as usual.
2. On the File menu, click Print.
3. Set options for printing on both sides of the paper.
If you're using a duplex printer (one that automatically prints on both sides of the paper)
Click Properties, and then set the options you want. If you have a choice of setting the page orientation and duplex options, select landscape orientation, and flip the document on the short edge or short side.
If you aren't using a duplex printer
In the Print dialog box, select the Manual duplex check box. Word will print all of the pages that appear on one side of the paper, and then prompt you to turn the stack over and feed the pages again.
4. Select the page range you want to print.
If you click Current page or Pages, Word prints the page you indicate, plus the three other pages that belong on the same sheet of paper.
If you click Selection, Word prints your selection using the default page layout instead of booklet layout.

Problem with printing document footer text on RICOH SP C811DN

Check the paper size settings and orientation of the driver from the Control Panel, and that match to the paper size in the printer's trays.

Good luck and please rate me, thanks.

SRP 270 feed 10 cm of paper before printing

Does this happen with all applications? This may be due to the header/footer and margin settings in y our application. You can try opening notepad (Start -> Run -> Accessories -> Notepad) and entering a bunch of text into it. Then print it up and see if there is still all the extra space. If it prints normally, then adjust the margins in your other applications. If it is still not operating correctly, try running the printer diagnostics program to re-calibrate the printer. http://www.samsung.com/support/index.asp

Multiple printers in fleet of vehicles. laptops moved from one vehicle to another. Constantly have to do new setup on printer since "serial number" is imbedded in setup. Learned from Brother.com they have a "disable serial number' program which we have used but evidently not in the right order. We used it and tried swapping computers from car to car and new hardware wizard still comes up. We installed the printer with the PJ3Plus BT driver, ran the disable serial number command and data light on printer blinked showing it received the command. Then ran PJ3Plus BT Config file for setup of characteristics for printer and sent it and red light blinked again indicating receipt. Did same with 2 laptops, each attached by usb to 2 different printers and then moved the computers to the other printer and both still required new hardware setup. Some said after doing all of this we needed to go back and delete th eprinter and re-install it again AFTER having sent the disable serial command. So, we had to install the printer so we could send the command and now do we really have to delete it and re-install after this? Help!! We have over 300 vehicles with 300 PJ3Plus BT printers and due to nature of laptops, they will die at all hours of the day and night and we can't have our users reinstalling software/drivers. We need them to be able to get another laptop already with the driver on it and hkave the printer work. Any help is certainly greatfully appreciated.
