Try this first.

Look at your cursor. If it is a Hand, you have selected the hand tool. If not, go and select the Hand tool.

With the "Hand Tool" selected, go over one of the fields that you can type.

1. If the cursor remains as a "Hand", then the fields are NOT fillable. It can be printed, but NOT filled.

2. If the cursor changes from a "Hand" to a vertical line ("I"), -the one you see when you can type- then the problem is different. If this is the case post again and we can continue the search.

With some if not all web browsers, you can save the webpage or document as a PDF document. You MAY be able to go back into your webpage history and retrieve and save it. I don't really think so though its worth a try. It might not have been saved for security reasons. In the future, when filling out forms, save a copy before submitting it.

I am unable to scan documents to pdf format. I used to be able to do with my old comuter with windows XP. Now I have a new computer with Windows 7. All I get is a photo format, but no Word, or pdf formats.

Advanced Word To PDF is a fast, affordable way to batch convert Microsoft Word documents into professional-quality documents in the popular PDF file format. Its easy-to-use interface allows you to batch create PDF files which can be viewed on any computer with a PDF viewer.
all the original text font, images, graphics, hyperlinks, layout and formatting are kept intact after conversion. it's available to add properties to the output PDF file, like the author, user password, owner password, allowed actions, etc.

Why am I having problems getting a user manual for my recent purchase of a think Pad netbook X100e series

I don't have any answer to your stated problem, and perusing Lenovo Support indicates that you are correct.

What I can offer, that you may not be aware of from Lenovo Support, is the Hardware Maintenance Manual.
It's in PDF file form.

The Hardware Maintenance Manual is essentially a Service Manual.
However in perusing the manual just now, I saw some items that may be of interest to you.

1) Restoring Factory Contents by using the Recovery Disk set.

2) Status Indicators
A) Power On
B) Sleep Status, (Standby for Windows)
C) Battery Status

2) Passwords

3) Power Management

4) Fn Key Combinations. (Function Key)

5) And of course FRU Replacement
(Field Replacement Unit. Some examples: Processor, Ram Memory, Harddrive, and so on)

This is the Lenovo Support link for the Hardware Maintenance Manual, for the Thinkpad X100e series netbooks,

There is also a Setup Guide available in PDF file form to download,

Can't save Adobe Acrobat 9 fillable forms

Fill in an interactive pdf form After you fill in the form fields, do any of the following:
  • Click the submit form button. Clicking this button sends the form data to a database across the web or over your company intranet.
  • In Acrobat, choose File > Save As, and rename the file to save the form with the data you entered.
  • In Reader, choose File > Save A Copy, and specify a location for the copy. Note: If the form author gave Reader users extended rights, the saved copy will include the entries you made in the form. Otherwise, the saved copy will be blank.
Enable Adobe Acrobat Reader users to save form data Ordinarily, Reader users can’t save filled-in copies of forms that they complete. However, you can extend rights to users of Reader 8 and later so they can do so. In Acrobat Pro and Pro Extended, these rights also include the ability to add comments, use the Typewriter tool, and digitally sign the PDF.
  1. Open a single PDF, or preview a component PDF in a PDF Portfolio.
  2. If you are editing the form, click Close Form Editing in the upper-right corner of the form.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • (Acrobat Pro and Pro Extended) Choose Advanced > Extend Features In Adobe Reader.
    • (Acrobat Standard only) Choose Advanced > Extend Forms Fill-In & Save In Adobe Reader.
These extended privileges are limited to the current PDF. When you create a different PDF form, you must perform this task again to enable Reader users to save their own filled-in copies of that PDF.
If you don’t want recipients to overwrite the blank form template by saving form data, do not extend rights in the copy you send to them.

Limitations on saving filled-in forms locally

Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, and Acrobat Pro Extended each allow Adobe Reader 8 or later users to fill in and save PDF forms locally. The use of the Reader Extensions capability for local saving of PDF forms (called extended documents) is limited in two ways:
Number of deployed extended documents An Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, or Acrobat Pro Extended customer can send an extended document to an unlimited number of recipients for them to fill in. For example, an Acrobat customer can post an empty form template on a web page that allows users to fill in and save PDF forms locally. An unlimited number of people can access the template. However, the Acrobat customer can collect only 500 responses from the filled-in form. This limitation includes both hardcopy (paper form submission) and electronic representations of the filled-in form.
Number of recipients of the extended document An Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, or Acrobat Pro Extended customer can send an extended document to no more than 500 unique recipients. For example, an Acrobat customer belongs to an organization with 500 people or less. The Acrobat customer can send an unlimited number of copies of the extended document to those 500 recipients and collect unlimited responses from the filled-in form.
Both limitations apply per entity/company, and multiple users in an entity cannot abuse this feature. Obtaining additional licenses to use Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, and Acrobat Pro Extended does not increase the above restrictions. For example, five Acrobat Standard 9 users in a company cannot send out the same extended document to receive and extract data collectively more than 500 times.
Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, and Acrobat Pro Extended include technology that can enable PDF documents with certain features by using a digital credential. This credential is located within the Software (“Key”). You agree not to access, attempt to access, control, disable, remove, distribute the Key for any purpose.

I hope it helps.
Regards

Need a password to stop others using the computor

Right click on My computer, then select manage, then click on Local Users and groups, then over on the right double click on users folder, then right click on a blank spot under the last user listed and select New User. Under the user name field type in what you want to call the user. Full name and description are optional and are not necessary to fill out. Type in the pw twice in the password field.
Uncheck the "User must change password at next logon" checkbox and then click on "Password never expires" checkbox. Then click on Create. Now select the new user and right click on it and select properties. Click on the member of tab and click on the add button. Type in administrators and click on ok.

You now have a new user that is an administrator that only you can use. Beware once you do this your desktop icons and favorites WILL NOT TRNASFER TO THE NEW USER. You can manually copy these over by poking around under "c:\documents and settings\(*example user)\desktop or \favorites \my documents etc" and copying to the same location to your new user account.
