Question about Dell Inspiron B130 Notebook
Hello, I usually can figure out misc. problems on my own...But I am stumped...While playing a game, watching a move or even a quick video clip my laptop skips or lags....It's very noticable. It constant but intermittent. Like your cars windshide wipers... LAG......fine.....LAG.....fine.....and so on...Can anyone help....
I'd recommend the latest video drivers- and strangely enough- defragging the hard drive. Most laggy systems I've seen with plenty of ram (512 or more) that have no spyware on them, and no major ram eaters (norton, spysweeper, mcafee) are fragmented. look in task manager (ctl, alt del) and see how much free ram you have- and see what is using all of it. If you have a lot of ram, and no process is chewing up the ram, or the cpu- then defrag the hard drive.
