Question about Black & Decker B2300 Bread Machine
I solved the problem... I had to read the Black and Decker book again. But the machine is really to small for the 3 lb loaf. Many times I had to punch down the bread by hand so it would not stick to the top. And cutting down on the yeast is not the problem, as so many had said. Thank you, I am still not over happy with the BIG Machine.

Foolproof bread recipe: 2 cups milk, 5/6 tsp bread machine yeast, 2/3 tsp salt, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tbsp margarine, 2 cups whole wheat flour, 1 1/2 cups white flour, some flax seed and some poppy seed to taste. There is no way this will stick to the top of your pan, if (a) you start the bread soon after putting the ingredients in and (b) you put the flour in it last.

Cut back on your recipe a wee bit. You are adding to much thus making a loaf to large for the pan and it has no where to go but up. :)
That happened to me just once and I learned to be more careful on what I was doing and measure a bit more carefully.
I am very happy with this big machine!
