Question about Hampton Bay (261025) Dual Mount Ceiling Fan
Does it have a light kit? if it does remove the likt kit and inside you will see a black and white wire be sure to turn wall switch off and tpe it to the off postion once the light kit is off you will see a shaft that runs from the center up to the cealing you will see a nut that is on the threded shaft remove that nut to get to the upper part of the motor. and reinstall after words. you can also go to hampton bay web site and you can see a parts blow up of your fan and you will see how it works. hope this helps. go to this web site and sign in and you can get the picture.
