* press 'repeat' button
* 'no disc' disappears in left corner
* press 29334 if you have a R1 player
57538 if you have a R2 player

SOURCE: Sharp Blu-Ray model BD-HP20X locked to region 4 how to unlock ?

Well I Checked my data resources and saw that there are no hacks or tricks for Sharp yet... the only thing you can try doing now is to ask your Dealership if they can unlock the regions for you. I've searched everywhere but couldn't find anything for newer models like HDDVD or Blu-Ray players.

Sorry T_T But let's hope someone might be able to help as well..

SOURCE: bdp s 300 opening dvd zones

This is not easy and requires a lot of technical ability stripping the machine down and soldering in a chip and other components, it will certainly invalidate the warranty and also kill the machine completely if you get it wrong.
if you do want to do it this is the link to get the kit.

SOURCE: What is the unlock code

There's only a single way to unlock a bluray system- with the use of a special chip that you must solder over the controller chip - an extremely delicate job. Finding the chip will also be difficult - it's illegal to own and use. Use it at your own risk

Wrong region

probably you are trying to play a disc that is not zone free or you need a code for your player to make it zone free. you may be playing a zone 2 disc ( PAL) on a machine that only takes zone 1 (NTSC) or vica-versa.

I am looking for multi zone crack for Pioneer BDC-TD04 (Sony Vaio laptop) Blu Ray drive, suggestions?

DVD REGION FREE & BLUE-RAY REGION FREE
To changethe Region code on your DVD player, open Control Panel - System - Hardware -Device manager, and click on DVD/CD ROM drives, then right click on the DVDdrive and click Properties then click on DVD Region.
You can enter a new region and it also shows you how many changes have beenmade.
NOTE you can make only 4 changes and the player will lock permanently on the4th change.
If you want to play DVDs from any region you maybe able to upgrade the firmwareto make it region free BUT if you make a mistake or installed the wrongfirmware the player will be a piece of junk.
The best solution to make the player region free is to install a piece ofsoftware (Passkey for DVD) that allows you to play DVDs from any region andPasskey for Blu-ray that allows you to play Blu-rays from any region. There areseveral available on the Internet but my favourite is DVD-Region Free From: -

Need to be able to play US ble ray discs that i have in my collection

DVDs world zone specific, so a DVD (or Blu-Ray) can't be played if they come from a different part of the world. OK, that said some eggheads out there find a way to decode the programming of the players and make them multi-zone, in other words able to play disks from any world zone. The manufacturers of DVD/Blu-ray players do not release this information, zones are copyrighted and it is unclear the legal implications of giving out the information to convert a single zone to a multi zone player. If a hack into the prgram code has been found it isoften posted on line at a couple of sites i know about. The information goes by the make and the midel number of the player. It may or may not be available if the player is a newer model. Below you will find a link to the one site that has the most posts on hacking into the software to make them multi-zone.

Unlock multi region code for sony bdp-s357 blue ther is a code, a password ? mine play just zone europe. pls help me! i want to see all zone..

As with many Sony models, there is no way to hack the region coding on your model, sorry. This applies to both the DVD and Blu-Ray region coding.

But if you have a Blu-Ray drive fitted to your pc, you can use a program like DVD Fab to make a back-up copy of your Blu-Ray disc which strips out all of the region coding and copy protection. The copied disc can then be used on any machine.

Note that this may be illegal in your country; it's up to you to ensure local legal compliance. It's also illegal in the UK where I live, but in practice there's no problem as long as I don't use the software to distribute unlicensed copies and provided that I destroy/delete copies when I dispose of the original disc.

My Sony Blu ray can't play normal DVDs in my region - Africa. How do I change the region coding just for DVDs?

It's not possible to change the region code in the Blu-ray Player.

BD media does have region codes. But, unlike current DVD players, the region codes for BD media use letters instead of numbers to indicate a particular zone or region where the discs can be played.

The BD region codes are as follows:
Region A: North America, South America, U.S. Territories, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and other areas of Southeast Asia

Region B: Europe, Africa, Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand.

Region C: Asia (except for Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and other areas of Southeast Asia)

Need To Unlock My Sony BDP-S500 To Play Imported DVDS And BLU-RAY

I don't think that it is illegal to change the region of a DVD player as a DVD drive in a computer can be changed easily up to 5 times before they are locked on one region. Sony Blu-Ray players at this point don't have a hack code and they have to have a hardware mod to play both region A and B Blu-Ray discs. There are inexpensive Phillips DVD players that are region free or they have an easy method to make them region unlocked. I don't know of any Blu-Ray players that have that feature, but you can get a N. American region coded player that will play both PAL and NTSC, but you will have to use a voltage converter as N America is 120V 60Hz and Europe is 220-240 @ 50hz.
The other option is to get a Blu-Ray/DVD RW drive for your computer and set it as a region 1drive and connect it to the TV for playing US discs.
There are other things you can do but those ARE illegal or questionable and I can't post them here.

Best of luck
